My visit was perfect from the initial ingress, housekeeping (she is excellent), concierge, front desk staff, food services - restaurants and room service - janitorial staff keeps that place spotless. Bartenders, waiters everyone. Food was delicious, bed was comfortable and everyone was kind. Excellent location near the arena and convention center. First visit to Tampa and the JW added to a memorable experience
We had a wonderful weekend. Our room was fantastic overlooking the bay. I am a Gold elite member and I want to thank Gabriella for upgrading our room. She was friendly and helpful. I left some items in my room when we checked out and she was working the desk again and happily escorted me back to my room to retrieve them. Great customer service. Food was excellent I highly recommend this hotel.

I must share this experience with everyone, be vigilant! ⚠️ Brand is considered top-notch in Hyatt, but the service we receive has never been worse! 1) Arrive at the airport first. When booking a hotel, I chose a hotel close to the airport. When I called the hotel, I said arrogantly: We don’t have a shuttle bus. You can take Uber yourself. Because I haven’t downloaded Uber yet, I went to call one, and the black driver charged us 25 for the 10-dollar journey; 2) When I went to the front desk, I seemed to be very enthusiastic. I asked for a credit card guarantee. I thought it was just a record, and I didn’t notify us. I just swiped $200/no receipt, and I only saw it when I turned on my phone when I got to the room. Complain to Ctrip, saying that it may be a guarantee, and wait until the last day to check out; 3) There are people excitedly calling friends in the corridor at 2-3 o'clock in the middle of the night. I have never encountered it in China/Europe. scrap paper); 4) We had breakfast the next morning, which obviously included meals, and we had to sign a bill (from now on every day) and explained that the waiter only said to keep a record, and signed the bill in duplicate/tips, we only signed one, The second one is taken away (reference) and no tip is given; (the waiter gave us the same feeling, too high-profile, too much emphasis on his own existence, giving the guests a sense of oppression (we like that no one disturbs) they always like to behave Enthusiasm, in fact, is not necessary; 5) (Because I receive reminders to debit the money from my mobile phone every day) Go to the front desk to confirm the breakfast-included question, but the little girl doesn’t know anything; 6) Complain to Ctrip customer service, Ctrip finds a local agent, Ctrip reminds me every day, the agent has not responded, and the attitude is particularly neglectful; 7). On the day of check-out, the front desk reconfirmed the issue of breakfast included, saying that if breakfast is included, a local fee will be deducted / there is a receipt, and when I check my phone at the airport, I will deduct a few hundred dollars (without any explanation / Receipt; 🤔️ At that time, I was annoyed. Hyatt deceits too much! ! ! If the agent doesn't reply, it doesn't matter, just go to the bank directly and freeze all deductions. On the day the bank froze, Ctrip notified that the agent replied that there were several debits that were wrong. 🤑 Therefore, don't be afraid of the big shop bullying customers! Find a more authoritative one (this is the only way to deal with Americans, whoever insists on talking!) In the follow-up, I chatted with my friends and said that Hyatt is like this! So, lesson learned! Suggestion, if you can not choose Hyatt, don't choose Hyatt! ! ! 👎

I have been here to attend a 3-day conference at the conference center next door. Great hotel! VEry clean and modern. I was fortunate to get a room on teh 27th floor wit a view over the water - maginificent. The rooms are clean, large enough, and functional. There are a few decent restaurants in teh hotel and many more at your doorstep. The hotel shop is almost an entire supermarket. If you forgot something at home they have it there! Even all sorts of food. Only (tiny) negative aspect are the elevators. Although there are enough of them on rush hour you may have to wait more than 5 minutes for one to come.

The staff at Le Meridian could not have been better or nicer! They were incredibly friendly and helpful….a big shout out to LaLithia at the front desk who was awesome and helped us upon check-in. The glass of complimentary sparkling wine upon check-in is a nice touch. The complimentary coffee in the lobby from 6 am until noon is also a nice and appreciated touch. Our room was very spacious and very clean. I am giving my review a 4 start vs 5 star because of the room decor and, quite frankly, the hotel (hallway decor) as well. Whoever was in charge of interior design should be fired! Our room was incredibly depressing because EVERY wall except the entry hall was painted a DARK gray. The carpet (new at least) was also a DARK gray. The bathroom was ….guess what….a DARK gray. Because the hotel is a converted old court house, the ceilings are high and made of cement so there is no recessed lighting (understandable). BUT, there wasn’t even a floor lamp in our room. It was SO DARK and DEPRESSING. Needless to say, we felt we were living in a CAVE. When you stay at an upscale hotel for a getaway or mini vacation, you expect to feel happy and uplifted. The decor did just the opposite. In addition, our room was lacking ANY seating area other than the bed and a desk chair (at bar height to match the bar height desk). It was CLEARLY MISSING a couple of comfortable occasional chairs. We called the front desk as soon as we walked into our room and requested a couple of chairs. They brought us 2 stacking chairs. I guess it was the best they could do under the circumstances but they certainly weren’t comfortable chairs that one would want to relax in. Also, the TV was very small given the size of the room and the distance from the bed to the TV. As for my reference to the hotel decor, and specifically the hallways, Marriott fell so far short in making this hotel what it COULD be given its unique history and architecture. When you walk down the hallways the bottom half of the walls have old marble (a nice touch and vestigial feature of the court house) BUT the top half of every wall is BARE. It is just COLD and lacks ANY sign of nice decor. Why wouldn’t they line these hallways with old, framed photos of court houses, court rooms, judges, etc???? Or old photos of Tampa? Or have a local artist paint murals on these walls? Ironically, the hotel gives its guests free passes to the Tampa Art Museum but whoever designed the interior space didn’t bother to include ANY artwork in the hallways. And the “artwork” in our room consisted of a few ugly, random cheaply framed posters. You might think that I am overly critical….after all, as I said, the staff was lovely and responsive and our room was spacious, quiet and clean. BUT, because our room was just so DARK and DREARY and DEPRESSING we wanted to minimize the time we spent at this hotel.

This hotel stayed for the first time, hilton name is good, it really did not disappoint, but the price can be more perfect if you can nice. Only stayed for two nights, because the price of the hotel behind it, too much can only change places. The hardest blasted bed I've ever been on! Then, we had some people racing their motorcycles nearby and calls to the front desk to report/request police help were met with disbelief since I couldn't tell them exactly where the motorcyles were - I did tell her to step outside and she'd hear it.... When we booked we told the salesperson we were going to a ballgame and needed to check in early. We arrived and Damion greeted us. He said he couldn’t guarantee it but would try to get us in early. We went to our car poured a beverage went to the beach area and 20 minutes later he called and said our room was ready. Very impressed by this young man. Our room was perfect. Amazing view. Only downside for the first night was the folks in the next room decided to play their loud music base until after 2am It was annoying and disrespectful. Next morning we asked Damien if they were checking out that day. Thank goodness they were. Second night was much better. We enjoyed some time at the pool and watched the sunset which was amazing. Sunday was much better than Saturday but these folks are very sweet

Hello, my stay here has been great. The customer service was awesome. We were able to check in and the person who served us was very nice and professional and pleasant. Her name was Ms Angela. It had already been a long day. Our church group was coming in from Georgia to visit Bush Gardens. After this long trip, it was great to be able to be checked in, in a nice and timely manner. Ms Angela checked us in and was very helpful in explaining things concerning processing our payment, letting us know about our room and getting us our keys. Our room was great. Nice and clean and well put together. Sleep was great and refreshing to experience. I would definitely recommend this establishment to others.

The coffee shop has the best café con leche of any place in Tampa, the Flor Fina restaurant has a wonderful menu that serves the best lunch and dinner in Tampa. Really handy for TPA having arrived from the UK. Rooms are a decent size, however the sofa bed was not made up when we went to our room. Disappointingly when we went down to reception to mention this we were told that we would have to make the bed up ourselves. Never in all of our travels have we ever been told such a rediculous thing. We we challenged this again, the reception staff finally relented and sent housekeeping to make up the bed.
