This is an absolutely outstanding hotel with impeccable staff. If you are looking for peace, tranquility and stunning surroundings then this is the perfect hotel for you. Our room was the royal river room I believe it's the basic room, but when we walked in we felt like we'd arrived at a Maldivian island (we've visited there twice). The room was very large with a separate sitting room, double closing doors to the bedroom and then a double sink bathroom with a beautiful bath and rainfall shower. Outside there was a smallish pool similar to what you'd get in an over water villa in the Maldives, a gorgeous double bed, egg chair and corner sofa which we used in the evening for drinks. From our pool you could swim out to the river and take some amazing photos of the tree canopy covered river. They offer theme food nights we did the Asian and French nights both of which were incredible. But it is only a 5 min taxi ride to caleta where there are many other restaurants too. My husband had a small issue with hotel laundry with an expensive shirt however duty manager Daniella was incredibly professional, concerned and helpful she recompensed us for the cost of the shirt. And aside that in all our dealings with her she is clearly a real asset to this hotel. The only very slight comment is about the bathroom soap/shampoo dispensers they seem a bit cheap which was a complete surprise given that EVERY fitting in this hotel is clearly very expensive. It wasn't a problem just an observation. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay and we will most certainly be back.

Our stay was simply faultless, so this will be a short review, but we had an excellent week stay at the hotel. The villa was spacious, well-equipped and luxurious (especially in the outdoor area), the restaurants had impeccable food and service, the grounds were stunning and well-maintained and the views and pools particularly picturesque and tranquil. Most of all, I feel it’s most important to thank the incredible staff who made our stay so faultless - there was a consistent warmth to every member and they went above and beyond to ensure that we were well-looked after and waited on at all times. Not something you see everywhere even at the best 5-star hotels, so duly appreciated, and made our stay truly special. If there is one thing we could say that we feel would have slightly improved our stay, it would be if there were some transfer services available within the hotel and La Caleta / Costa Adeje as opposed to taxis (occasionally, taxi services were unreliable). However, this is a very small thing and by and large did not affect the general view of the hotel. Thank you for everything, we will definitely be back.

Just returned home from this fantastic hotel second visit this year. From the minute you walk through the doors you are greeted with warmth and smiling faces. A drink of your choice and bellboy takes you to your gorgeous room. Upgraded to Star Prestige that we find is well worth the money. Isabella our butler does a fantastic job so a big shout out to her. Breakfast buffet is superb wide choice to suit all. Fantastic service once again. Paolo on reception is simply the best a great asset to the hotel. Carla in management there are not enough words to describe how fantastic a job she does. From the rooms to the restaurants, pool and bar area you will not find better. Can’t wait for next year.. Thank you all for your service.. Tracey & Derek Parker / Mr Jack Daniel’s

We spent fourteen nights at this wonderful hotel in La Caleta, Tenerife. Our room, a Junior Suite with a Panoramic sea view, had all the comforts and facilities you would expect from a five star hotel. Our private balcony with two quality sun loungers enhanced our experience. The biggest asset the hotel has is their staff. Whether male or female, cleaners, restaurant workers / bar staff, pool or reception staff they were all amazing. Smiles abounded, cheery helpfulness was the order of the day, day in day out. We were touched and incredibly impressed. The hotel’s facilities were all five star. The rooftop pool was a delight as was the main pool at ground level. Breakfast choices were amazing. Everything you could possibly want or need was available. Smoothies and fruit juice selections complemented breakfast. The jewels in the crown were the hotel’s two Michelin starred restaurants. The two star, El Ricon De Juan Carlos and the one star, San Ho. We dined at both these fantastic restaurants. Both nights were memorable. The food, wine and service exquisite. I have reviewed both restaurants independently. As an adults only hotel I have to say that our stay was both tranquil and thoroughly relaxing. Without reservation I would recommend you stay at the hotel

We stayed for 9 nights. We had a junior suite which was huge. The room had its own private balcony with sun loungers looking out over the village to the sea. We were cleaned every day and the room was like the 1st day every time. They steam the bed linen so it's just perfect and tidy. The breakfast was great, any thing and everything on offer you could possibly want. Every day they made different smoothies which were delicious. Every remember of staff could not do enough for you. They are all brilliant and made our holiday just perfect. The guy who runs the adults only pool deserves a special mention. He never stands still, making sure everyone has what they need. Organises the sunbeds, towels and adjusts the umbrellas for shade. He remembers everyone's names and made everyone feel welcome. We ate at El Ricon De Juan Carlos the x2 Michelin star restaurant. There are no words to describe how wonderful this meal was. It was the best meal we have ever had in our lives and we have been to some lovely Michelin restaraunts in the UK. This was the best. It's an expensive treat but worth it. A meal we will never forget. All in all and wonderful holiday.

Reviews From Real Travelers
Beautiful hotel with wonderful facilities and services including private pools with plenty of sunbeds, a gym, spa, art exhibition room, games room with pool tables and football tables and TVs showing live sports matches. There are also organised daytime activities and evening entertainment. I loved the neutral and mint earth tone colourway theme throughout the hotel which is very calming and relaxing. I also respect the hotel's commitment to sustainability by installing water filleting machines to reuse bottles and refillable soap and shampoo dispensers. My room was warm, cozy and clean with a nice balcony view and a variety of tv channel and movie selections including Netflix. The cleaning lady was kind to remake my bed from two twin beds into a large double bed with beautiful flower petal decorations and chocolate truffle treats which were delicious and I appreciated the additional touches. The breakfast was delicious ans very filling, presented in a buffet style with so much variety and choice of different stations within the dining room (cereal and granola; fruit, salad and juice bar; toast and baguette station; pattessarie station; hot English breakfast station with a section dedicated to different preparations of eggs). Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an excellent location with stunning sea and mountain hill views and has direct access to Torviscas Beach which is less than a 3-minute walk. There are also many local shops, bars and restaurants including a mcdonalds by the beach. I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely revisit in the future!

Just returned from a weeks stay. Pro's : Hotel & Grounds immaculately clean. Staff always friendly and helpful. Good Location. Food of good quality & plentiful. Good daytime entertainment. Con's : Swimming Pool & Surrounding Area too small for the amount of people staying in the hotel. Evening entertainment area strange location. Gourmet Kitchen Restaurant, strange set up, this should be part of the All- Inclusive package , with maybe 1 visit per week as part of the package. I cannot see how they make a profit , as far i could see it was never busy and the guy outside was struggling to tempt people in. All in all, we had a great time but i don't think it is quiet a 5 Star hotel , a good 4 star yes.

It's been 15 years since my last trip to Tenerife and the comments below are based on international five star hotel experiences around the globe. So here's what I experienced on this reservation:- Positives 1.Check in / out process fast and professional. 2.Direct beach access via the pool area. 3.Breakfast buffet with internal and external seating choices was excellent. 4.Evening entertainment between 21:00 and 23:00 Hrs was good. Negatives 1. Allocated R3101 upon arrival and entered to find the bath tub was extremely dirty and required solvent cleaning to remove large accumulation of water scale dirt around plug area (Approx 200mm in dia). Root cause of this problem is a leakage from the shower hose connection which remains to be fixed. 2. TV was on and could not be turned off. This was rectified by Maintenace changing the batteries within the remote control. 3. Sink plunger mechanism was broken and I was shown how to remove the plug on a daily basis once housekeeping cleaned the room. 4. Locking mechanism on the balcony sliding door is broken and extremely hard to open / closed. 5. Only one, yes one pool towel provided / guest at the pool via a plastic card that you are required to exchange at the pool towel bar. If you forget this card it's a return trip to the room. General Travel Tips. 1. Taxi from TFS Airport to hotel cost 25 Euro each way. 2. Hard Rock Cafe located next door (£££). 3. Great Italian, Thai, Japanese and British restaurants located on the second floor off the shopping complex across the road from the hotel (££££)

We recently returned from a 4 night stay at this superb Hotel. The Hotel is first class in every way. Our room was spotlessly clean and very spacious with comfortable furnishings and the best shower we have ever had in any Hotel. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful and very smartly dressed in line with the Hotels Mexican theme . We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and chose to eat off-site in the evening so can only comment on breakfast This was outstanding in terms of the quality and range of hot and cold dishes on offer The egg station was a delight with freshly cooked eggs of all types cooked to order We would highly recommend this Hotel for a peaceful holiday with great facilities ideally located right on the beach and many restaurants and shops on the doorstep

This was the first time staying here but we will defiantly be back, could not fault anything in and around the hotel or the golf course. Staff were excellent at their jobs and very attentive and friendly, food excellent, room beautiful, pool area lovely and quiet. The golf course was in a great condition and the procedure of having your clubs stored in the lockers ready for putting on your own buggy then driving straight out to the first tee was amazing. As I said earlier I have already booked to return to this little piece of heaven.

I went on holiday with my partner far away to celebrate our anniversary and we were super lucky and got an upgrade to one of the duplex with golf views, absolutely beautiful and massive for the 2 of us, but it was a bit disappointed as the room was not clean enough and the housekeeper had to come to clean the bathroom a bit better and also the horrible stains on the floor in the room but after that everything was perfect and we were very happy. The hotel is very good located if you are looking for a quiet place to stay far away from the hubbub but be aware that you need to take taxi to get the beach or rent a bike or a car, walking distance is not an option. The swimming pools are really good and you have plenty of space to sunbathing. The staff at the hotel are exceptional and with a high level of customer service and always willing to help, special mention to Martin from the restaurant and also Raul and Diana from the Reception, very good customers service and happy to help. The breakfast was really good and we were very impressed with plenty of variety for everyone and the staff really efficient. On the negative side we would like to mention that we would have liked a small touch from the hotel to say congratulations as we got engaged and we mentioned to Diana and Raul from the Reception and also to Martin but not a small little thing to say congratulations like a card or 2 glasses of prosecco or kind of. About the room, we would like to mention that the mattress are not very comfy as you expect from a 4* hotel and even though the room was very well equipped we missed a bin in the room and we had to use the one from the bathroom in the living room. We did not eat at the restaurant so I cannot tell about the food there and we did not use the gym or the spa either. We will definitely come back next year.

The hotel is very well placed. The staff is very attentive and friendly and everything is very clean. I only had breakfast at the hotel and the truth is that they had a wide assortment of products to eat. Regarding the pool, it is very small and in the area where it is located there is not even space for a small bar that serves drinks or snacks. You had to get the drinks out of a vending machine. Nobody controls the pool area so anything can happen and not exactly good. It did not occur to me to take photos of the hotel. The quality/price does not compensate me. There are hotels of the same category in the area with better facilities

Reception: Our checkin agent, Cesar, was extremely helpful. He even remembered us at check out and made a joke to us. Room / facilities: Room number 8327 is on the 3 floor and is fairly clean. There is a self control air conditioning with a balcony door that opens which overlooks the pool. The room has 2 single beds joined to make a king bed , unsupportive pillows, small flat screen TV, table with 2 chairs, a hanging area with a valuables safe inside, (the safe door swings open when not used, due to it being installed at an unlevel angle), the bathroom has a tub with shower, bidet and toilet (that constantly drips). After advising reception, a repair man visited, and strangely, INSTANTLY knew what the problem was as he entered the room. However after departing the room they failed to fix the constant drip. The toilet continued to drip during our stay. This constant drip is very annoying once you are aware if it. There is a small bar fridge, (but no tea or coffee facilities). Furniture is very dated and has suffered a lot of wear and tear over time. Parking: is available for free with 2 parking areas that accommodate approx 25 cars, for the 500+ rooms in the hotel. It seems that all open air parking (excluding parking garages) on the island are free of charge. Wifi: Complementary. On our first night the wifi was super mega slow and atrocious to use, and failed multiple times to open any website, even though its advertised as premium Wifi. The Wifi connection dropped out regularly, required multiple password re-input and was just super, super, super slow, even when trying on multiple devices. After 2 calls to reception the night of our arrival, there was nothing they could do until the technician could attend to the problem at 10.30am the following day. I had to resort to my 4G data to gain any connection. The wifi was functioning the next day. Breakfast: Included and available for all guests. The buffet style consisted of fruits, cereals, hot eggs (precooked or freshly cooked), sausages, bacon, crumbed chicken pieces, baked beans, cold meats, juices, pastries, breads, tea and coffee. Be aware of the human vultures that swarm the food, as if there was no possibility of refill. Conclusion: Great looking hotel from the outside and foyer areas, but walk into the room, you immediately step back 20 years into a tired dated room. Letdowns: Initially the wifi not functioning and dropping out, the constantly dripping toilet, poor/lack of in room amenities, tired furniture. As the foyer bar was closed, i rang reception and requested for and ice bucket to be delivered to the room, which would have incurred a €3 charge this to me is unacceptable. Previously, at the foyer bar, i asked for 2 glasses of ice, but could only receive one as the barman said “the ice machine is broken”. Or was it due to the hotel ice delivery was insufficient to cater for the number of guests in the hotel? Location / Nearby: Arona town main street and all its

Disclaimer: I wasn’t going to let the bad reviews put me off as I did see some good reviews also. And now I wish I paid extra and got a better hotel!! Upon check in it took the man a LONG time to check us in. It took 20 mins to check the two of us in and another couple that was in before us! Not necessary and last thing we wanted at 11:30pm after 13hrs of travel. The first impression of the rooms: they are outdated, dirty, and have bugs! I think it’s hard to make a room look clean when it has holes, and cracks in the walls, ceilings, and skirting boards. But for the bath to look like this UPON CHECK IN is pure filth. The rooms also only have one plug socket! If you do decide to stay at this hotel bring an extension lead, it saved us! The socket in our first room looked like it was barely attached to the wall and had wires coming out of one of the cables. Very dangerous and unsafe! On our 3rd night I started noticing more cockroaches coming out from underneath the skirting boards. I woke up at 3am and saw one crawling on the floor near my bed. From that moment I wished I had paid extra for a better hotel when I was booking the holiday. I went and spoke with a man at around 5:30/6am and asked for a room change. He said there are “better and worse rooms for cockroaches” and that he would tell the morning receptionist about this and ask her to MOVE us to another room. He told me to come back at breakfast. I went back down at 7:30am, purely distraught as I’ve been up since 3am on barely any sleep and I spent this time crying and stressing over this room. As I approached the desk the receptionist didn’t even care to look up at me. When I told her my room number she still didn’t look at me, just said “yeah it will get cleaned today”. I told her that I got told 2 hours ago to come and speak to her about a room change. All I got was a blunt and patronising “umm no I haven’t heard anything about a room change, we are full and I can’t move your rooms. They are everywhere and you will always get them even if you do move rooms.” I told her what the man said about there being “worse and better” rooms, to which she laughed and gave me the dirtiest, most patronising look and said “no , trust me I work in hotels from budget to 5 star and they are everywhere, I would know” I said that I’ve been to Tenerife before and stayed at a hotel where I’ve not seen a single insect or bug for the entire duration of my stay. She continued to be patronising by giving me looks and laughing at me. Said they’re going to be everywhere and she can’t sort me a room until later anyway and that I must’ve misunderstood the guy from earlier. No apology, no sincerity, no customer service whatsoever. Just pure rude. So to the hotel manager, please re-train and have a word with the receptionist that was on at 7:30am on the 8th September. Around two hours later, she told the Jet2 rep a complete different story. That she CAN move me to another room but I refused!!! This is no languag

I loved this hotel. Me and my boyfriend decided to go on a short holiday in half term and chose this hotel as it was relatively cheap whilst also being quite central in playa las americas. When we arrived the hotel is very clean. We got to our room and we had been given a double family room for the 2 of us. i didn’t book this so this was a nice surprise as we had a double balcony which looked over the sea and we could see the sunset. The bathroom was lovely and the rooms were very clean with huge beds, cleaned every day to a perfect standard. In the morning we had a buffet breakfast which was extensive and filled us up, the dinner buffet was also really nice and changed every night with fresh food also being made in front of you. The pool side had lots of chairs and we never struggled to get a seat, the pool was nice and a nice temperature. There was a bar near the pool with crisps and drinks and on the last day there was a pool party with music and rubber dingies which we both loved as it was some entertainment. The hotel was a 10 minute walk from the beach and the main bars and we managed to walk to many different areas with no problem. I would definitely recommend this hotel can’t fault it

We were here September 2023 & we really enjoyed it we returned this June 2024. A couple of the previous animation team have sadly left Victor & Mica but Javi & the 3 new girls Marta, Laura & Yumi were brilliant. We had a great time with them. On arrival we had a bit of a wait to check in, must admit they still dont have enough staff on reception, same as last year. We were finally checked in by a very welcoming Nicole. She gave us all the detailed info for the All Inclusive package. We had HB last year. Also our room was ready which was great. Room 101 with a Seaview. Room was very nice, small but fine. Great view of pool & sea. Only ****** was everytime we showered (daily) it flooded the bathroom floor. Just a bad fitting seal. We mentioned it to reception when we checked out so hopefully they will sort it. We just got on with with it but to other guests they may complain. We hired the safe. Makes me laugh about comments on money going missing etc. Hire the safe!!! Simples, yes you have to pay but for the amount it's a no brainer!!! You get the deposit back. Food this year I felt had slightly gone downhill. Choice & quality not as good in my opinion. The restaurant & pool bar staff were great as usual. Evening entertainment was good although for June there were alot of young children running about, over the equipment being set up for some of the shows & the parents doing nothing!!! Seemed left to the animation team to calm them down!! Not on. Parents take responsibility for your own kids! I'm sure they'd have something to say if they hurt themselves. Location of the hotel is great. Everything you want in a stones throw. Again makes me laugh when people say it's over a loud bar. Dont people do their research before they go?! We had a great time and will be back. Thankyou to everyone at H10 Las Palmeras xx

Lovely hotel at a very good location. Modern, nicely decorated for Christmas. Polite staff, good choice for breakfast and dinner. Christmas dinner was something out of this world( been to many hotels, but Xmas dinner now will be hard to match). Not sure if it is always like this but we were the youngest in the hotel(43&47)during the first part of holidays and only later some other younger people joined us. The average age was 60's 😁 This hotel is not orientated to children but for us it was perfect- no screaming and shouting and our girl had fun in the pool by Herself and her cousin🤣 I wanted to book Spring Hotel Bitacora at first but now I am thinking that I made an excellent choice . That said, I might try it out next time just because of the All nclusive service Bitacora provides. It was a nice quiet stay so if you expect something like Turkey, eith music around the pool, kids disco and shows, this hotel is not for you. We were half board and 4 days we ate at the pool bar and were never disappointed. Good food and reasonable prices. We didn't book UP option because we were with the kids( it's for 18+)but if I ever come without them- I will try it out! Pros: Very good location Modern hotel Heated pools( wheelchair friendly) Good food and service Cons: No shampoo in a room! It's a first for me 🙈 The tiles in the pool (mosaic) need replacement. My daughter filled probably half of the carrier bag from the bottom saw of the pool🤣 All in all- perfect stay and believe me, I am picky. It is one of the hotels I would recommend to my friends and family
