Great Hotel with delicious food and very helpful staff. Our stay was absolutely pleasant. The food provided is so tasty that it feels like it is made at home. The rooms were also very clean and we were provided with all the necessary amenities. Would recommend this hotel to all.

We have recently been to Summit Khangri Karpo. There are many good things about this hotel. Staff: Extremely courteous and eager to help in any way they can. Location: Extremely scenic (located near the Teesta river). Ask for family room if possible. The hotel is very easy to find (the drivers know this place as it's very popular) Room: Nice cozy interiors. They provide bed with warmers for very comfortable sleep. Food: Nice restaurant that serves fresh food. Overall, very satisfied with the stay.

We reached lachung in night on 23rd march night. Its really awesome. Hotel staff and management is polite. Food is extraordinary in such a remote place. Our deluxe room was upgraded to family suite without any charge. I am really thankful as my friend had 2 yr child and was well taken care of when we were having food. Its one of the great experience i ever had in terms of hospitality and care

It was an ok experience. The hotel is a little run down in parts. Service at the dinner rooms were not always the best. The staff are not really bothered and would not give the menu quickly for instance. The room was nice but again it was not in the main block.. there was something missing in the hotels experience. The free evening tea and snack was awful. Yea was made terribly and the snack was tasteless. There are better evening tea service in places with yum snacks. This was plain simple boring and stingy at giving good food.

This is a heritage hotel, so you must not expect sparkling glass doors like Sofitel hotels and rain showers and fancy digitally operated rooms. What it provides instead is the history of the place, it's old grandeur and aura. Yes the lobby is a little startling with turquoise furniture, but think French decor and all is cheerful and bright. What is fabulous is the well experienced staff who anticipate and accomplish anything you could ever think of service-wise. It is great to watch the care in cleaning the premises, the landscaped garden and the variety of food and the manner in which it is served. When ccasionally there were only a few of us for dinner, we were served with utmost care and we could easily imagine ourselves as members of royalty for that dinner. Otherwise there was a good buffet spread. We had excellent service from the staff with special mention to Ashish and the other managers. The dining room overlooks the beautiful garden that in turn overlooks a FB stadium. Traffic can be messy if there is a match going on, and more so if a VIP chooses to attend. On another note the shower heads are weak and the bath tub is not easy to navigate, especially if you haven't lifted your foot more than 8” per step for a long period and now have to climb over a tub. :) As stated previously this is a heritage hotel.... expectations should be made with that in mind. The management and staff made up for all that the hotel construction left desired. We had a wonderful stay here and we sincerely appreciated all the plus points this hotel provided.FromDKK 749

Awesome experience, staff were very courteous, polite & friendly. Hotel has Live band playing English & Bollywood songs in the evening time and has Disco night (clubbing) at the PUB located in basement on Saturday nights, charge is Rs 1000 for male and free entry for female (charges applicable for in room guests also)
We got JAIN FOOD on request and we enjoyed the food. View of the valley from the hotel is very good and we had mountain view from our room. Hotel is located slightly far from the market, though not very far. Overall a great experience and I got value for money for my staySOLD OUT

We stayed at The Z Retreat & Spa for 2 nights and we had a wonderful stay there. The hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of city life, offering a calm and quiet environment. The room was quite spacious, neat and comfy. We had the room decoration done and it was decorated very nicely. The food there was also good. We had the candlelight dinner and the food & drinks were really good. The food is pocket-friendly. The staff there was very courteous and helpful; they answered all your questions promptly and made sure you felt supported. I stayed with my family for one night as a stopover before proceeding to North Sikkim. The room was functional but clean. The reception is not immediately visible when you reach the hotel, in fact it is two stories above. Had dinner and breakfast which was light on the wallet and good overall.SOLD OUT

This year we decided to visit Sikkim. So from Kolkata we travelled to Siliguri, Kalimpong, Gangtok and finally Namchi and back. We reached Gangtok on 23rd May. We stayed at Sonam Delek for 3 nights and I cannot tell you what beautiful stay it was. I was travelling with my Mother, Sister and our three kids. We had booked three apartment suites. I have travelled to many places in the past, but I have never been so mesmerized with the way the rooms were made and decorated. The rooms had this beautiful positive energy and had the most spectacular view from all three sides. The staff at the hotel are very helpful. There is a restaurant within the hotel and the food is quite good. The chef here cooks excellent North Indian food. If you are a vegetarian, you have nothing to worry about. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Gangtok. I definitely will plan another trip soon. FromDKK 237
