We traveled here to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and to travel for Thanksgiving. This hotel delivered the experience we had hoped for. Beautiful. Quiet. Serene. Right on the beach. The staff were fantastic. Dave the bellman was always warm and professional with quick valet service. Marla and the front desk staff were always available and responsive when we had questions about navigating the island. The infinity pool is absolutely beautiful. Pandarang waited on us for a few days. Service was great. He offered great recommendations for excursions that enhanced our experience as a family. Marielle and the spa staff are also awesome—just down to earth and personable. Carambola—great food. Even the Thanksgiving dinner was a 10! They nailed it. This hotel is located in Dawn Beach and just minutes from the French side of the island. We could get to Oyster Beach, Grand Cade and other points of interest (eg, Parotte ville bird sanctuary, nearby restaurants) in ~10-20 minutes. We plan to travel back to SXM every year as a family tradition. JW Marriott Beach Resort & Spa St. Maarten is our hotel of choice. Full stop.

After another beautiful day on the beach at the Divi Resort on Little Bay, we thought we catch the sunset at the Mix Roof Top Bar. The evening got of to a great start when shuttle driver Mike Bellman offered to give us a lift. If it wasn’t for Mike, we would have spent thirty minutes trying to find the entrance to the elevator! Mike told us to have the bartender call when we were ready to leave and he would be glad to pick up. After enjoying the views and a few light plates served by our lovely waitress Rihanna, we asked them to call Mike to return us back to our room. He was there by the time we got off the elevator to carry us back to our villa. Mike and Rihanna made the end of a great day in Divi Little Bay, perfect!

The place was clean. Staff was so kind. We had a great time here. Will definitely be back. Walking distance to many amenities and restaurants. Locals are so helpful and nice. I will say there was only 1 major downside. The night before we left the room across the hall from us were cooking at 10:30-11pm at night with the door open and set off the smoke detector approximately 20 times in their room. I called the front desk because at that point it was 11pm and security came by to see what they were doing but didn't tell them anything and they continued to cook and be loud and set off the smoke detectors even after security came by at 11pm. They were definately frying something. I would not be complaining if this was at 8p or 9pm. But 11pm? That's a little late for all this noise. I would suggest there be a better way to handle this in the future as other guests should not have to listen to smoke detectors going off so late at night. Also would hope that next time security would kindly ask them to close the door. Just a suggestion, would not be a bad idea to have some type of ground rules for guests cooking. Thank you!

We just returned from our stay at this property and Hilton again did not disappoint. The beach is beautiful with views all the way across Simpson Bay to the airport, countless restaurants, bars at tours and clubs within a easy walk and even a full service market right next to the famous Red Piano Bar. We actually had to cancel or plan A that was to stay at a AirBnB due to power outages on the Dutch side and fortunately while there were minor disruptions at Flamingo Bay, they have a backup generator that kicks in so the lifesaving A/C was always available. In addition to everything else the staff stayed friendly and ready to help even with Tropical Cyclone Ernesto whipping the island. Only drawback is there is not an adults only area, so if you’re looking to escape the screaming kids for a romantic beach you’ll have to do some exploring which was a bonus in itself. Safe Travels.

From gracious its 100-year old Cape Dutch building, exquisite art-filled common rooms, relaxing pool area, and its comfy rooms to the welcoming host and efficient staff, Holland House is unmatched in Durban. It's my only recommended place to stay!

The hotel is hyper chic The only thing, it's got to walk a lot to get to the pool despite the lift. Otherwise , nothing to say . A good staff
