The hotel is located in the heart of the historical part of Istanbul, the main attractions are within walking distance. Tram tracks under the windows, a stop nearby, you can get to remote areas. The staff is friendly, very good full breakfasts, on the first day a tea, coffee set and drinking water in the room - a compliment from the hotel. Comfortable rooms, though small, we booked a triple room with a sofa for two to make it more spacious. Cleaned up, changed linen daily. The elevators are working well, you don't have to wait long. The return transfer to Sabiha Gokcen airport was booked from the hotel for 10 euros per person (group). The only drawback is noisy. City center, tram under the windows. The windows of the room were facing the courtyard, but there is also noisy - the hood works, If you do not open the windows, it is normal. But we were in December, it was hot, outside at + 17, the windows were opened, the air conditioner was not turned on. Because of this, the noise was disturbing. But after a busy day, we fell asleep quickly, the noise is like on a train, you quickly get used to it. Overall, I liked the hotel. It was much cheaper on the trip than on the booking. Three-room apartment for the price of a kopeck piece at a booking, even cheaper.

3 of us stayed in a triple room on the ground floor for 4 nights in late September. The hotel states it is 5* but I really wouldn't say it is. As soon as we arrived we felt pressured to book excusions with the hotel but they didn't spend much time telling us about the facilities or how to get around the city. The hotel pools and gym were nice (the gym had been temporarily moved to the upstairs pool bar which was actually a much better location) but it is only open from 9am which isn't convenient if you are planning to be out for the day. The breakfast was very average. There was no choice of fresh fruit and the hot buffet was lukewarm. The price of food and drinks during the day is expensive too at €13 for a cocktail when we paid the same at the Intercontinental rooftop bar (would highly recommend for the views and service). The triple room was very dark, dingy and smelled of damp. I've seen other reviews stating they had no window, these appeared to be the ”silent rooms”. As we were on the ground floor we couldn't open the curtains as people would look in. The beds were so uncomfortable, they were rock hard and there was no iron in the room either. The rooms were incredibly loud and you can hear every movement, including someone using their jacuzzi bath at 1am. Our jacuzzi bath also turned on at random times and generally everything seemed a bit old. It was ok but not the 5* luxury we were expecting for the price we paid.

The room I arranged at the beginning was close to the roadside, and the next day I changed to the one next to the strait. It is very good. I will stay in the hotel and restaurant next time. The atmosphere in the evening is very good, and the breakfast is very good. It is as expected and is in charge of us. The butler is very nice, great guy

Although the Peninsula is quite standard and the lobby is very similar to that of Shanghai, this Peninsula is undoubtedly the best hotel in Istanbul. It has the best location and the best view. You can see the Eurasian Bridge and Hagia Sophia. The service is also very good. On that day, I had a flight at night and the hotel staff asked me if I wanted to delay check-out until 10:00 pm. The room is very large. The reason why I like Peninsula is that I like it. The cloakroom is large, the service is good, and the house car will take you to the surrounding attractions as long as it is empty. The view is good, but the only drawback is that it is next to the pier and the swimming pool will be a little noisy. Next door is the Istanbul Contemporary Museum. Very good! In addition, the hotel's art selection is worth praising. The hotel's hair salon should be outsourced. The assistant asked about 500 yuan for washing my hair, and then the bill was charged more than 2,000 yuan. Later, the manager refunded the unreasonable part! The consumption is more expensive than the room rate, the restaurant has a good view, and the taste is very ordinary.

The sea view is beautiful, and the room decoration is old-fashioned. When we checked in, they happened to be decorating the main hall. You can choose if you like retro culture! Overall it's good, but I like the modern style.

First location, the good hotel in Istanbul has a four seasons beside the old town attractions, others are around the macaka park, is a highland, there are many restaurants around, but have to take a taxi to the attractions. The hotel is second only to the bay in booking, but I think the location is better than the four seasons. The four seasons and Shangri-La are surrounded by several piers and bus terminals. That is noisy... All the restaurants in Istanbul have chocolate Suffolk, which is a good dessert, and the best is St. Regis's hazelnut chocolate Suflei, the 7th floor restaurant, and discounts for guests. The restaurant on the first floor is almost the same, there is no discount.

Shangri-La Hotel, Istanbul, has a great location and first-class service. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the interior design is full of Eastern and Western styles, and the restaurant has rich food. highly recommended!

Very good hotel and certainly recommendable. Its structure is capable of satisfying the needs of any traveller. The biggest highlight is the location (perfect) and the reception staff. The hospitality is incredible and it is clear from the first contact that there is an interest in making the most of the guest. The city is incredible and should be on any traveler's itinerary! The immersion in Turkish culture is incredible and, despite the differences, the good reception is certain!
