The breakfast is of good quality and the variety is small. The service is very good, but the facilities are old. The bed with a baby is a bit small, and the parking lot is quite big, 14 euros a night. The location of the hotel is fantastic, it is best to lie on the lawn to basking in the sun, in addition to the elevator to the beach, praise!
- RUI
A bit of a hotel feeling, the beaches of Nerja are not like the beaches of tropical islands, the sand is still relatively thick. And the beach is full of people, a bit like a domestic beach. A little disappointed

We stayed 7 nights as a family with a young child. We had a lovely holiday and what made it special were the staff, the lovely pool and sea view room. The animation team are fantastic - they put on fantastic family entertainment and my 3 year old had the time of her life. The pool, communal areas and bedroom were spotless. The housekeeping staff work tirelessly to keep the hotel clean. We stayed all inclusive and booked a sea view double room. Unfortunately on the first night we discovered our room was above the evening entertainment and it was incredibly loud. It was impossible to sleep. I asked reception if there was a possibility of a room change and they moved us to the other side of the hotel with no fuss at all. We were very grateful they didn't make it awkward and understood why it was difficult with a young child. The food was ok. They do a good job of providing food for a large audience. It isn't amazing but it was fine for 7 days and we found something to eat every day that we enjoyed. The cocktails were terrible. Genuinely the worst I've ever had. Pre mixed and watery. The wine and beer were fine. They were missing soft drinks suitable for children at lunch and evening meal sadly. The beach is fine. Clean but quite stoney and hard underfoot. I would recommend sea shoes to enjoy it. Easy access to the beach was lovely though! I would visit again when it wasn't school holidays - it was busy when we went and it was just outside the holidays. I can imagine queues are much bigger when the hotel is fully booked! Overall a lovely 'easy' holiday as a family.
We were staying here with family and were lucky to have a se view with balcony. The hotel has a policy to reduce single plastic use, so you had a flask to refill at one of the water refill stations on each floor. Not sure if you were staying for a longer time if this gets washed? The bed was bigger and more comfortable than expected and liked the toiletries. I ”borrowed” an iron and ironing board from reception for a refundable deposit. There was a good buffet on offer with a good range of varied offerings. The dining room could do with something to absorb the noise, but we always found a table easily. Food was better than other hotels of similar standard. Enjoyed the Aquafit, Aquazumba sessions at the pool. Pool was warmer than I anticipated from reviews. Also loved it being a big size so there was room for little ones, an area for ”activities”, but still this left room to swim. The Management might need to check the ”ladders” and railings around the pool which felt a little wobbly. I am not a fan of sand that is ”gritty” and gray so didn't use the beach. Beach beds and umbrellas seemed to be about 6 euros for the day each. With the air con on we managed to sleep through the noise of the entertainment which usually ended 11.30 ish. This is something we might not have chosen . The location wasn't ideal in terms of public transport and nearby tourist sites. However the local town Torrox had a ”tourist” night/ fair night which felt welcoming.

We typically stay at AirBNB's when we travel in Europe, but decided to splurge on this place in order to have hotel amenities while we were relaxing on the nearby beach. Aside from the awesome location (overlooking the water and in the middle of the main square), this place was twice the price of most places we looked at and yet was not nearly as nice. It's an apartment but they don't give you any amenities for an apartment and yet also don't give housekeeping services as if it's a hotel. When we arrived there was a ton of trash loose under the kitchen sink from the previous guest and no trash can anywhere except a small one in the bathroom so you can see why that's where they threw their trash (and no one had cleaned it up). At one point my son spilled something in the kitchen and there are no towels, sponges, ANYTHING to clean it up - not even washcloths or hand towels in the bathroom. We weren't going to waste our only bathroom towels on the spill so resorted to cleaning it up with toilet paper from the bathroom. The furniture all feels like old Ikea furniture, there was no way to take a shower without getting the whole thing completely sopping wet, and there was an old toothbrush on the ground next to the vanity when we arrived. Every time I tried to talk to the front desk they were enthralled in conversations with other staff members and wouldn't pause to talk to the guests. We had to complain three times to three different people to get someone to clean up the trash in the kitchen and the housecleaning didn't do anything in our room the whole time we were there except make the beds. And don't be deceived by the pictures of the pool. Based on where it is situated, in June it only gets about one hour of sun a day and the rest of the day it is cold in the shade. So much for staying at a hotel! I'm back to Airbnb's. I have found their hosts to be better than a hotel like this!

We had a fabulous room with a terrace and sun loungers looking over the pool and out to sea, the scenery was amazing. The Hotel is right in the middle of the Balcon de Europa and attached to a lovely bar with views of the ocean that are out of this world. The staff were very friendly, the room had a little kitchenette, which was great, the room was very clean and beds very comfortable. You couldn’t ask for more!

We celebrate a wedding in this place and we also chose to stay there (by using rooms). The restaurant's organisation of the celebration, inexpensive: the servants were very careful to the needs of both guests and those who are direct family of the boyfriends. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable, and the hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable and very comfortable. We would certainly recommend this place for celebrations. As the parents of the boyfriend, we thank all staff for the treatment received and the quality of the service.

What can I say. Stunning hotel in a stunning location with fabulous staff. Rooms were amazing. Beds so comfortable as were the pillows. Bed linen and towels were lovely and soft. Free parking and Wifi. Restaurant on site with fantastic food. Continental breakfast. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Views are breathtaking although the road up is a little hair-raising.

Great little city centre hotel. When I first visited Nerja I stayed in the outskirts in villa land. Fed up searching for a taxi at the end of an evening or a longer than wanted walk back I found this gem of a place! It is a great 3 star hotel with a variety of rooms, which are spotless and comfortable. Spoilt for choice you can visit the beach a few minutes walk away or use the rooftop pool with snack bar. A lovely place to relax. Some people complain about the noise from the street but this doesn’t bother me at all. No need to pack pool/beach towels as they supply them for a small deposit, the towels can be swapped for clean ones for 1 euro which covers cleaning, very reasonable. Staff are friendly and helpful! I can’t comment on breakfast as only book room only. My first choice accommodation in Nerja!
Hotel Plaza Cavana is a great place to stay if you are looking for a central location in Nerja. The hotel is close to the Balcon de Europa and many restaurants. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. However, some reviewers mentioned that the noise from construction and the nearby plaza can be bothersome, and that the breakfast is not very good. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its location, but be aware of the potential for noise and a not-so-great breakfast.

Just returned from a week at this hotel and we were not disappointed. It is in an excellent location,a short walk to the Balcon de Europe with its many shops & restaurants and near a lovely beach. The hotel is spotlessly clean with a very adequate breakfast buffet. The reception staff were very helpful and informative. All in all a great stay!

Very nice hotel, clean and neat room and bathroom. Unfortunately, a view from my room wasn't satisfying, as I could online see a wall of the other side of the building, so the room was rather dark. Very good breakfast with variety options to choose from, no lokal food though. Definitely, value for money hotel, for short stays.

Olee Holiday Rentals Torrox Costa was a lovely resort for a couple of nights on the southern coast of Spain, and it was outfitted well enough to stay much longer if you wanted. There was no direct access to the beach without walking down a hill and crossing a road, but the view from our apartment was a spectacular ocean view overlooking the resort's beautiful pool area. The apartment had two nice bedrooms with two really nice bathrooms. There was a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine. We enjoyed the large, shaded balcony for reading and drinking coffee. And the meandering walkways and staircases really gave the complex an attractive presentation. It was extra convenient to have garage parking.

We were rather disappointed with our stay here for several reasons. 1) Location This was not conveniently located - it was up a hill. In addition, picking up and returning the keys was a bit of a pain, this was not done on location, but further down the main road at an office. The office was also only open from 10am on a Sunday so anyone returning keys then needs to try to find a key return box. 2) Partial seaview Whilst the apartment did have partial seaview, you had to position in a little contorted angle to enjoy it from the balcony. Otherwise, the view was of the rest of the complex. 3) Tired apartment The decor of the apartment was rather tired - the bed was not that comfortable. 4) Amenities There were two swimming pools on the complex, one closer, another much further away. We did not find the pools to be very clean. There were also limited sunbeds, many of them were taken up by large family groups. 5) Value for money Given the price being charged, we would have expected something better. In short, do not recommend and never again!

Last night we were left waiting for over an hour in the lobby while the front desk tried to sort out a “lost” reservation. I had my 3 kids, including my 4 month infant. Management was not helpful even though I had my email confirmation of my reservation. Hotel staff asked to see proof of payment on my credit card, which I provided, and then they said the only solution was to charge me twice until they could sort out the missing reservation on their end. It had been almost an hour waiting in the lobby at that point so I told them it was fine to charge me again while they sort it out. I looked at my receipt and it was 2x the amount it should have been, so was I was charged 3x! I asked them to refund me the new charges and we left at 1am to go to a different hotel. I’m still left with dealing with Priceline for the first set of charges. Management was NOT helpful and if this is the hospitality they show at check in then we are not interested in ever staying here again. We’ve stayed at Marriott down the road a dozen times with no issues.

Hotel is good but they make many tricks , when I check out they charge me 200 bolivariano, because they said I was using their coffee and water , in fact instant coffee is not shown the price on table , at least nobody know that’s not free ! And water on the table they didn’t tell me that’s cost extra money ! This is very bad tricks ! Not good way to charge service cost !

The environment of the hotel is first-rate, the green area is large, and the floor is wooden floor, which is relatively high-end, and the swimming pool is also large. In the case of a suite, there are three rooms. The price of the room is calculated according to the number of rooms. A room is about 50 dollars. In addition, each room basically has a toilet, there are two rooms downstairs, two toilets, a living room, a kitchen, and there is only one room and one toilet on the second floor. Can basically guarantee the needs of the family

We have been at the Cortez three times, we couldn't even consider going to another hotel. The staff is so friendly and efficient, they make you feel at home. Lovely rooms, a charming patio with an inviting swimming pool and plenty of spaces where one can relax and enjoy.. Wonderful breakfast with a generous variety of fresh fruits. Although there are many good restaurants in the vicinity, it is a good idea to dine right there, great food!

I have stated at the Hotel Camino Real for many years with 12-14 visits a year. They have always treated me like family and taken care of my requests and needs like no other hotel I have stated at. The staff treats me like family and is friendly and helpful all the time. The Breakfast is excellent and my favorite meal of the day. The Gym is a bit small but complete enough to get in a good after a day's work. The location is excellent with many upscale stores and restaurant within walking distance. Highly Recommended.

The hotel has a very clean room, with good space and air conditioning. There is a minibar with some drinks that cost a lot more than buying them at the supermarket. The bathroom is very complete, has a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner and liquid soap. There weren't many options for breakfast, I missed having a sandwich maker to make a hot sandwich, as the machine there only “transformed” the sliced bread into toast. The location of the hotel is good and you can walk to Praça 24 de Setembro. It is a more residential area and has few restaurant and bar options to go to at night, so you will need to take transport to go to bars and restaurants. The Wi-Fi was a little slow, which could be bad for those who intend to travel from home.

New and modern hotel with spacious room and serviceable staff. Only the breakfast buffet is limited to a hotel like this that offers the breakfast buffet included in its price.in fact, if you want to eat omelet eggs or chewed eggs at the breakfast, The hotel's location is not in the centre, so less noisy but less convenient to travel in the day, especially when taxis do not know the hotel.

So the rooms are good, spacious and comfortable. The shower is very good in terms of pressure and temperature. It is true what other reviews say about the noise. The walls are thin, and the windows don't insulate well. Make sure you get a quiet room. The negative part is food. It is very low quality. Breakfast for instance is very subpar, but the worse are the room service options. They seem to have been prepared by a student and not by a chef. And I don't really understand it. I mean, breakfast is included, you want to offer a cheap breakfast to save on costs, that's ok. But you charge for dinner, just hire a good chef and increase prices a bit, they are not that high anyway. Another thing that I found unacceptable is that they don't provide bottled water in the rooms, beyond the first day.

In the hotel itself he says it is 5 stars, but not The only positive point is the location. The receptionist was very dry when we arrived, and he released the room just at 14:00, even with the availability before, we paid for coffee, because we arrived at 9:00 a.m. What a disappointment. Breakfast is very bad, very bad. If compared to a 4-star hotel in Brazil, the breakfast is noted 2. Without varieties, preparations are not tasteful. The room was beautiful, but the air conditioning was shut off all the time alone, a fact that helped us have a bad night, since every 30 minutes we had to shut off and we had to get up to shut up. I was very disappointed by the amount paid for the daily, and I do not indicate that hotel.

The location was great as well. Overall it was our best experience in South America over past 6 weeks of traveling. We would both highly recommend it. Most including the owner spoke English very well. If we come back I would stay here. Also talk to the owner for he is well educated and traveled. Enjoyed the stay - quiet room at the back of the building, very large room, wonderful water pressure, efficient Air/Con. Large shower and decent bathroom lighting. Breakfast buffet was good, ask for eggs how you like them (scrambled, poached etc). Using Google translate, we could communicate with the woman at the front desk. The location was great, nearby restaurants within walking distance if you choose. The lobby and the rooms are well cleaned and welcoming. Staff were all very professional and the receptionist spoke English, wish was a major help to me. I booked the suite Room with a jacuzzi, the first they booked us in was inoperable and had signs showing down for maintenance. We asked reception about it and they were unaware oddly. They did move us rooms, however the second room the water temp in the jacuzzi wasn't warm and when the air jets were turned on there was an awful smell. We didn't bother to ask again as we assumed no one ever used them.

About as high-end a hotel as you'll find in Bolivia, though it's beginning to show its age (for instance there are a lot of cracked windows, and the rooftop pool/bar would provide an even more wonderful view if the perspex screen around it wasn't in so much need of a good cleaning). Most clients appear to be in tour groups or on business trips. I showed up after 3 days in the jungle covered in sweat and mud, and they seemed keen to get me out of the lobby as quickly as possible. It's at the end of a cul de sac and a bit of a slog from the nearest shops, restaurants, etc, but as a place to unwind after some hard trekking it fit the bill. I suspected (later confirmed) I had broken two ribs while trekking, and want to give particular props to the masseur who did absolutely the right thing by declining my appointment request and advising me to just take it easy - his professionalism probably saved my back further damage and I don't know too many in his position who would have made that call. Thank you.
