On a safari, the feeling of being in beautiful nature should predominate. But if the accommodation, the food, the wine list and above all the very friendly staff are also excellent, then you can really enjoy and relax. Despite bad weather and heavy rain, we went on all the game drives and were more than rewarded. Our ranger was excellent and fulfilled all our wishes regarding wildlife. The Gondwana project is convincing, but still has potential in terms of game drives. The planned expansion will be good for the wildlife and maybe they will also offer night tours. We missed this somewhat. We certainly miss the Ranger Coffee at home.
A overnight visit allowed us to pack a lot in. The accommodation was wonderful, and we had two game drives, the morning drive (5.30am) was the more successful, and Tim our guide was excellent. We saw three of the Big 5 on our short stay, along with various other animals. The evening entertainment with the drummers was a laugh, but it meant we sat down late to eat and the food wasn't piping hot. Would like to return in the future for a 2/3 day stay.
