An extra bed can be offered for free. You can enjoy a nice scenery from the large terrace of the room. It's suitable for trips with children. The hotel has a good location. But there are few supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

The location on top of one of the seven hills of Lisbon is superb. It is also next to a small view point . The suites we took were nice but very expensive . Breakfast has an arrangement which doesnt work . One is supposed to go into a pantry next to a long dining table and order breakfast . There is also outdoor seating . Every morning we had business meetings and had to be at our appointments by 10 am . The very first day we reached the dining room at 8 something and the staff member in the small kitchen said she would come soon. We reminded her again after 10 minutes . It took her 20 minutes just to come for our order. After that there was preparation time . Many of the other staff were not professionally trained though most were friendly. Another person at the Reception another day insisted that all tea was decaf !

Fabulous! One word that can describe our stay at the Ivens. It scored full marks on hospitality , hotlel decor & room quality . We reached early morning around 9 am after a long 9 hours flight . Being a Bonvoy Ambassador member they had already upgraded us to the suite , but the suite would be ready only by 3pm the official check in time . The check in staff was so helpful they promptly gave us another room till our suite was ready . This is indeed was a boon as we could rest after such a long journey and adjust to the time zone. The 3 night stay was just wonderful , no request was small and the team ensured that we had a memorable holiday. The hotel has the beautiful Rocco restaurant as part of its establishment and breakfast was served in this beautiful setting. The rooms are modern and well equipped. I wanted an adapter plug that was promptly provided. The amenities were just world class. The location is perfect away from the noise and just a few minutes walk to the city centreThis is easily one of the best hotels I have stayed in Europe . You will not find a better place in Lisbon for sure.

The location of the hotel is simply awesome. On Liberty Avenue, Loewe is on the first floor of the lobby. It's a luxury to walk all the way, which is great for girls who love to buy. The breakfast was so-so, nothing to do, nothing special. The top floor is a small bar, overlooking the entire Liberty Avenue is good.

Quite a disappointment for a 5 star hotel. The room didn’t raise to the expectations : there were many problems with the bathroom - flooding because of the shower door which wasn’t closing properly, poor cleaning service, plumbing problems - the sink was clogged and the smell was very unpleasant; the key door had to be changed 4 times (it kept deactivating and in the beginning they had to change the room because the initial room could be opened with any key). Moreover, a very very unpleasant surprise was at the check out, when the reception asked to pay for the minibar ,but in the room there was no price lists of any products (we only drank 2 coffees and 2 bottle of water , which usually are free and offered by the hotel).

We have just returned from a four night stay at the Hotel das Amorerias. When booking the only room choice available for us was the Deluxe Courtyard room and although the room was fairly small it was finished to such a high standard. Our bed was a standard double but was extremely comfortable with luxurious bedding. There is a small open wardrobe area to hang clothes, with two open shelves. We had seriously overpacked so the area looked messy. There is also nowhere to store suitcases so these were just in the corner of the room for our stay. The bathroom was of a decent size with a large walk in shower that had both overhead and handheld water supply. The toiletries that were replenished every day were Penhaligon (Blenheim Bouquet) and the maid came in twice a day, in the morning to clean and make the beds etc, and in the evening to offer a turndown service and replace towels again. The hotel was fully booked for our stay and I must say, the soundproofing was amazing. We never once heard another guest from our room. Downstairs, after reception there is a small seating area with comfortable chairs and books to read. Further through you come to the bar and breakfast area. This also spills out into the small but wonderful courtyard. Most mornings, we are our breakfast out in the courtyard. Breakfast was delicious. Small but perfectly presented dishes. The choice included breads and croissants, yogurts and fruit, a variety of egg based dishes and extras including spinach or crispy bacon. I will miss the breakfasts now I am back at home! The hotel offer a handful of snack choices for throughout the day and evening, this is quite limited, but what we did have was very good and really reasonably priced. We sat in the courtyard with drinks before heading out to dinner and sampled wines and cocktails. The bar man even made cocktails for us not on the menu. I highly recommend the hotel add the bramble to the menu as the one made for me was absolutely delicious! The staff were all very pleasant and hard working, a credit to the hotel. If you are looking for a small hotel, with great attention to detail and luxurious surroundings, then this hotel is for you. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel or recommend it to friends and family and I hope that next time we stay, one of the attic rooms are available for our dates.
