There is no signage for the Alexandra Palace, which did not help locating it. It was however delightful when found. There was a skeleton staff, who were most pleasant but due to the staffing problems, limited options for food, which didn't really do the hotel justice, were offered. On both mornings of our stay there was Guillaume, valiantly holding the fort and spinning the plates of reception, waiter and cook with great dexterity and an immoveable smile. When the additional developments are completed , it will be a great attraction.

The lady in the breakfast restaurant is such an amazing person, he praised the smartphone case, talked to Nico Nico and enjoyed it. The breakfast itself is of course delicious. Japanese fruits are usually better, but sweet and delicious! ! There are also good brands of black tea and herbal tea. was great to find this apartment with all the necessary we need for a short trip to Cannes during the Film Festival!
Just by the beach but in a very quiet and good location. Parking was proved with an extra tax, the Blue Café was nice and convenient with a good coffee and breakfast. All together we were pleasantly satisfied with our stay!

Although the hotel is 4 stars, it is not worse than five stars. The hotel is very new and the facilities are very good, especially the location, very close to the commercial street. To the south is the luxury sector, and to the north is the catering shopping street. It is also easy to go to the Movie Palace, 3 minutes walk. There are also delicious Chinese restaurants around. It’s a regret that we were not told that the checking out time was 11 am at the reception and we could not open our room door when we checked out at 12 am. Stayed in classic room which was very spacious and rooms were very quiet. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast included. Large indoor pool area or you can pay 20 euro to use rooftop pool for the day. There is a carpark but you need to book a space as they are limited and it is very hard to find. Turn right into the street just before the hotel and about 50metres up that road on the left is a roller door. Press buzzer and they will let you in. No signage on roller door.From$70

The building is great and well located but…….. breakfast was terrible, not a single piece of fresh fuit insight , ran out of coffee cups after about 10 customers and were told to use the cardboard ones and the sever was at best useless. We booked three rooms and it took more than 30minutes to checkin because it was so unorganized at the reception , finally we were given 3 sets of keys and every key was for the wrong couple so it took us another 30minutes of going all over the building to work out what rooms were actually ours.From$64

We arrived early and unfortunately could not check in, which was understandable. However, there was no lounge or bar area to wait, so we were forced to leave the hotel to find an alternative place. Once we could check in we went to our room which was the one bed suite with city view. The suite was ok, but didn't seem to live up to the pictures. The bedroom had been decked out in balloons and a birthday banner for my partner. But having paid over €450 for one night, I felt a bottle or chocs could easily been laid on. When we decided to have a hot drink in the room, we found that there were only small paper cups for espresso, no teas and no milk. As such, I went down to reception to ask for some tea and milk an was shocked and surprised to be informed that the hotel does not supply either, but I could purchase them if I wanted. I felt this was so petty and not what one would expect from a 4 star hotel. As such, I had to go out and search for a store to buy some milk. The aircon, despite putting all the settings on low, would not operate, and when informing the front desk next day, was advised that perhaps I should have left the settings higher!. On checking out next morning, a call was made to the front desk advising that the bunting was missing. We had presumed that it was ok. But know, the £2 bunting was not to be taken as the hotel reuses it On the positive, the bed was extremely comfortable and the bath and shower were adequate. Overall I did not feel it was worth the €450 for one night and the boutique feel of the property was lack lustre, tainted by the penny pinching attitude SOLD OUT
