Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort
4.8/547 Reviews
The beach at the hotel is too wavy to swim and can only bask in the sun. But not far away, there is another public beach more than 100 meters, where you can swim. There are many choices for buffet breakfast and dinner, and the taste is good. Of course, there are occasional mistakes, such as grilled too raw beef shoulder. There are very few things for children to entertain. There is a game room where you can draw, watch TV, play games, etc., but the maintenance is not very good. The service is generally good, ushered in. However, there are more ingredients for the show, and some details need attention. Overall, the price / performance ratio is average, and it should be done.

The infinity pool of Bawa architecture is a wonderful hotel. Many of the customers seemed to be from Sri Lanka. There were many people like honeymooners, but there were surprisingly many families and families. Although the hotel was a little old, it was solidly built and there was no problem with the plumbing. Service outside the restaurant was very good. The restaurant seems to take more than 30 minutes to bring out what you ordered at lunch. And it was a little cold. Coffee for breakfast also took quite a while to come out. Housekeeping and receptionists were very nice.
Sooriya Resort & Spa

We recently had the opportunity to stay at Sooriya Resort and Spa in Rekawa. This hotel is situated on a beautiful, unspoilt beach in the south, where you can observe typical fishing activities. It's also an ideal location for turtle enthusiasts, as turtles frequently visit the beach at the bottom of the hotel property. The standout feature of Sooriya Resort and Spa is the exceptional level of service. Despite the hotel being fully booked on the first night of our stay, the staff handled everything seamlessly without any mishaps. The food was delicious, offering a good selection, and the staff were exceedingly friendly and accommodating. The executive chef, a highly experienced professional with a background in several five-star hotels, explained the diverse menu choices. He also took the time to personally speak with guests and gather feedback, which we found impressive. Several staff members, including Chamika, Mishen, Chatushka, and Chandana, went above and beyond to make us feel at home with their excellent hospitality. However, I rated the hotel four stars due to some significant design flaws and maintenance issues: 1. The car park is on a different property. Although it is well-secured, this setup is inconvenient. 2. The reception is in a separate building, which seems like an architectural oversight. Incorporating the reception into the main building and using the current reception area for parking would have been more practical and cost-effective. 3. There is a lot of wasted space on the second and third floors that could be transformed into a cafe, gym, library, or other useful facilities. 4. Maintenance details are lacking. In room 111, the main shower had a constant leak, the bidet shower was installed incorrectly, the toilet paper holder was poorly positioned, and there was no bedside table on one side of the bed. Ultimately, the exceptional service from the staff elevated our experience, turning what could have been a two-star review into a four-star rating.
Araliya Beach Resort & Spa Unawatuna- Where You Meet the Sea All Year
4.3/544 Reviews
As a full-time wheelchair user, I have always faced many challenges in my many trips to Asian countries. One of the most important of them is the accommodation, which should be completely suitable for wheelchair users. I must say that Aralia Beach Resort and Spa was one of the best. A large and beautiful resort with a very helpful and caring staff who provided us with a wonderful stay in Galle. Large rooms with huge balconies, large bathrooms for easy maneuvering of wheelchairs, excellent breakfast and dinner, were just a few of the facilities of this resort. Very professional and polite crew who helped me with great care and made me feel not restricted at all. Mrs Dilrukshi who welcomed us on the first day, showed us the room and made our day with her beautiful smile. The other great and helpful staff like Aslam, Narin, Isuru, Thasun, Parami and many others. I recommend staying at this resort for at least a week, and I guarantee that there will be so much fun and entertainment at this resort that you won't even want to leave. Finally, I would like to thank Mr. Bernard, the front office manager of the resort, who helped us a lot during our stay
