Nalanta Hotel Pattaya

Central Pattaya
We were here for a 3 night stay and didn’t want anything too extravagant as we looked for somewhere a short time base camp as we organised ourselves for the rest of the holiday. The hotel is located in a great location for our needs, a short walk to Soi Buakhao, an even shorter walk to Copperspoon where I ate a lovely breakfast but the street has laundry shops and drink stalls. We frequently used both directly opposite. It’s pretty centralised, it not far to walk Central plaza of Beach Road. When you compare rooms to the UK, it felt more like an apar**ent as there was a small area to prepare food and a large fridge which was greatly appreciated. Considering what we paid for this was a great room our only gripe was that we had to charge our phones with the plug socket in the kitchen area.

Pattaya Edge is the name of the condominium building to give to your taxi driver. The holiday inn bit is added in to distinguish itself from the other apartments being offered on booking sites. Great location. You are 10min walk from the beach and from Pattaya's famous night life. Fantastic roof top pools with lots of private sun lounging areas. There is a well equipped gym on the same level plus library plus washing machines. My apartment had a washing machine plus fridge, microwave and induction cooker. But who comes to Pattaya to cook 🙂 but the option is there. I have one gripe. There is a safe but it is not bolted to the wall. Sure, even if someone could walk off with the safe, they won't be able to open it. But that is a small consolation if my passport is inside. I was willing to take my chances with my tablet and money but i ended up carrying my passport around. I WhatsApp the owner and he couldn't undestand my concern. That aside, its not a hotel which might not suit everyone (there is no room service for example). I was on 7th floor but I could still hear the bars downstairs (they don't close until 2am). I wasn't there to go to bed early. So that didn't bother me. Cheaper accommodation can be had. But i liked the pool, the location and the washing machine. It would have got a 10/10 from me if I hadn't had to carry my passport around with me.

Sirin Exclusive Hotel and Residence

We spent four weeks in February into March at the Sirin. We were in a one bedroom junior suite. The lounge area was a great size with a limited kitchen. The bedroom was also a great size with a massive bed, plenty of storage space and also a safe included. Big TV in living area and also one in the bedroom. Good size bathroom, only down side to that was it was a retractable shower above the bath which in my opinion didn’t work as well as a shower cubicle. There was good air on in both living area and bedroom, TBH we didn’t use it that much. There was a good size balcony with a small table and two chairs with great views looking out over Pattaya. In the living area was a dining table, four ring elec appliance, toaster, kettle, combination microwave and also a good size fridge. The only let down was you had all the kitchen appliances but nothing to cook with, there were four plates, two cups and saucers, two spoons and forks, no knives at all, four glasses. When we contacted reception they sent up a frying pan and a fish slice type utensil. We ended up having to buy, sharp cutting knife, saucepan, chopping board, dish towels and sponges etc. This was a serviced apartment and was cleaned, change of towels and bedding twice a week. There was a good size rooftop pool area, shortage of sun beds and a lack of shaded areas, towels were supplied at the pool. The Sirin was spotlessly clean in all areas. The staff were always very friendly and very helpful, a big shout goes out to ALL the reception staff and the two concierge on the door were absolutely outstanding. The Sirin is ideally situated for bars and restaurants on the same road, approx ten minute walk to the beach. There is also a Batt Bus at the hotel which is available for use by the guests to take you to Jomtien or into town. We were in room 703, it was that good we are hoping to book for six weeks next year.

Having stayed here multiple times, we booked this hotel for a long weekend away. Once again, the staff were attentive, room was clean and swimming pool area is nice and chilled. However, on one of the nights we were woken up at 2am by the room next door. A guy had clearly come to Pattaya for the obvious reasons a lot of men do and decided to use this hotel as his base. The women proceeded to sob/scream for an hour, with the man constantly telling here to be quiet and console her. This obviously raised alarm bells, so I rang down to reception asking them to check. They said they would. 20 minutes went by and nothing had changed. Very angrily myself and my partner both walked down to reception from the 4th floor and insisted someone came up immediately. They said they would get security to check. This once again did not happen, but they decided it would be a good idea to call our room telephone to ask why we were complaining. This noise then continued for another 1h30mins, until the male finally fell asleep. This was all due to the connecting door that is in each of the rooms, which leads you directly into the room next door. It is obviously locked, however, as this shows, nose travels very easily that you may as well be in the same room. We spoke to reception in the morning and the only thing they could do for us was give us a later check-out which was pointless as we had to leave anyway.
M Casa Hotel Pattaya

I liked M Casa hotel, it was about 1/4 mike from Walking street, 1/2 mike from the beach, the room was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly, The shoe/watch/perfume shop just on the right as you leave the hotel proved to be the best and cheapest around 👍 I went in March and the drains along the road stink, stuff some tissue up your nose if you’re offended by smells, it was the same all over Pattaya but especially when close to a stream/sewer.
