Hotel Oasis Port Barton

We had such a great stay here. The breakfast was excellent, particularly enjoyed their garlic rice and fish danggit. Pancakes were also tasty, loved the cinnamon syrup! Also the best calamansi juice we had. The staff are so lovely and helpful. They helped us book island hopping very late when we arrived, helped us book a transfer car with our late arrival in Puerto Princesa, helped us hire a moped and also a tuk tuk several times. The hotel's moped is in great condition as are the helmets, and the tuktuk driver is excellent and drives skilfully and safely. Thanks to the concierge who gave us honest advice about whether we could drive ourselves or get a tuktuk to the various beaches we chose to visit throughout our stay. The hotel environment is also great, and so close to the beach which is lovely, but also situated slightly back so it's peaceful. Totally recommended!

Very nice place the facilities were very clean and the service was amazing people were very kind. The food was outstanding I recommend the chicken san Vicente. Although there is nothing to do around bc is a very small town the hotel gives you the island hopping, massages and the beach which you could enjoy, good place to relax for a weekend.
Le Cou de Tou Village Resort

The bamboo bungalow in which we stayed for a week was comfortable, spacious, clean and beautiful. The bathroom was amazing with all the different inlaid stones . . . an acupressure treatment for your feet. The cold-water shower took some getting used to. The bed was comfortable but we needed to wear ear plugs to sleep, as the walls were thin and we could hear people talking, dogs barking and roosters crowing, among other things. The fan was great for moving the air around, but you had to be a giant to reach the controls. The breakfast was basic: a fried egg with 2 pieces of toast, a banana and super yummy brewed Swedish coffee. We supplemented the breakfast with sweet buns from the bakery around the corner. The Filipina co-owner and her staff were friendly and helpful, always available to chat or provide local travel advice. We booked a wonderful island-hopping tour, a motorbike rental and a van trip to Puerto Princesa thru the resort. We loved the one-eyed calico cat who lived there. It visited us every time we sat out on our deck. If the resort had high-speed internet, warm water and aircon, we would have stayed even longer.

A cozy hotel near the bus station. Room of sufficient size for two. The host was kind, helped solve all the issues. The garden courtyard, a quiet place. There is a kitchen, gas can be cooked by yourself. At the hotel there is a shop where there is bread, milk, ice cream.

I have lived here in Palawan for 14 years and this was my first time on the island. It was just beautiful and I can recommend it to everyone. For me it was the most beautiful place here in Palawan. We had the family suite and were absolutely satisfied. The water for the shower came a bit slowly and without much pressure, but if you live here then that is no reason to complain, because how often do you experience in Puerto there being no water for hours. Wonderful view of the sea, crystal clear water. The menu has a good selection and we always enjoyed the food. Considering that there is only this one restaurant and that it is on an island, I think the prices are absolutely OK. Those who complained that it was expensive, please remember not to offer such a selection in a place like this. Especially since I have often been very dissatisfied with the quantity and price-performance ratio here in Puerto! You can rent a kayak for little money. There was nothing to complain about the service either, everyone was friendly and patient, despite 4 loud children. I will definitely come back! Thank you for 3 wonderful days!
Ausan Beach Front Cottages

Ausan Beach Front Cottages are definitely an acquired taste. The room is bold and colourful, it wasn’t necessarily to my taste, but I loved how unusual it was, I think the colours of the walls and bathroom were quirky, the bedding choice didn’t compliment that but again – that’s my opinion (and it’s just bedding, the bed itself was comfy). The actual only downside of the room was that we chose to have a “fan only room” and it just didn’t cool us down at all and it’s quite dark inside. However, aside from the rooms, the place itself we couldn’t fault. The location was a 15/10! The surroundings of the hotel rooms and the restaurant area are all beautifully themed together as this treehouse paradise. The beach area is part of the hotel and it’s so beautiful with fantastic access to Port Barton (literally is Port Barton) for any boat trips you’d like to take. The food was lovely too, there is so much choice! If you do stay here, make sure you love dogs as there as 4 of them in the restaurant, they did beg for food a little, but the staff moved them away. My favourite part of our stay here was just sitting on our room veranda with a cocktail listening to the sea and looking at that view. When you think it couldn’t get any better, the sun sets, that view is worth putting up with the unappealing bedding! :D
