Waveforms: Poetry & Music Workshops is a captivating series of events that aims to explore the deep connection between poetry and music. This series will consist of two engaging creative writing workshops, which will take place on the 1st and 7th of March 2024 at the Advanced Research Centre (ARC), University of Glasgow.

The first workshop, titled 'Reverberations Workshop', will be held on the 1st of March. Led by acclaimed poets and practitioners Patrick Romero McCafferty and Jeehan Ashercook, this workshop will delve into the intertwined nature of poetry and music. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in various writing activities and engaging discussions that highlight the reverberations between these two art forms. Additionally, there will be a special creative conversation with bell lungs, enriching the experience further.

On the 7th of March, the second workshop, 'Convergences Workshop', will take place. Alongside the workshop leads, guest co-facilitators from Anoraq will offer their expertise in exploring the convergences between poetry and music. This workshop promises to provide valuable insights into the harmonious blending of these two artistic expressions.

To culminate the workshop series, a vibrant open-mic event titled 'Performances: Open-mic' will be held on the 15th of March 2024 at Dream Machine, Glasgow. This event will showcase an exceptional lineup of talented poets and musicians, creating a truly unforgettable experience.

We came here on a spontaneous visit one Sunday afternoon in January and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our wee boy loved seeing the &ldquo;old fashioned house&rdquo; and was so well looked after by all the staff, from the cash register to the flat and back out again.

We went round twice (with a shift change between visits!) and the insight into one story of no doubt thousands like it in Glasgow was fantastic. Plus our boy thoroughly enjoyed colouring in his wallie dug. A hidden gem that is well worth the wander through Garnethill.

After visiting Glasgow Cathedral, we walked to the cemetery behind the cathedral. The cemetery situated on the hillside is very beautiful. In addition to the function of reaching high and far, the cemetery itself is dazzled by a variety of tombstones. Walking here seems not to come to the cemetery, but to the artistic stele forest of hell on earth. Today&#39;s weather is particularly clear. Although there are floating clouds in the blue sky, it always shows a large area of blue. The plane pulled smoke across the sky, leaving a white scratch on the blue. This sketch of the sky is very unusual. In the cemetery, overlooking Glasgow Cathedral, the structure is thin and tall, the color is dignified and simple, the appearance is solemn and solemn architecture, so that religious beliefs and the return of life in the limited space has been perfectly integrated in the infinite imagination. Standing here and looking at the surrounding scenery seems to be the best place to think about the philosophy of life. Unfortunately, the vast majority of the few tourists are just looking at it in a hurry, which may confirm the statement that the world passes by in a hurry.
