Kosovar artist Petrit Halilaj (born 1986 in Kostrci, former Yugoslavia) was commissioned to create a site-specific installation for the museum's Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Roof Garden. For the artist's first major project in the United States, Halilaj transformed The Met Roof with a massive sculptural installation. Halilaj's work is closely tied to the recent history of his native Kosovo and the consequences of cultural and political tensions in the region. After studying art at the Brera Academy in Italy, he moved to Berlin in 2008, where he still lives and works. His projects span a variety of media including sculpture, painting, poetry and performance.

It came on September 19, 2017. The Metropolitan Museum is one of the most important museums in the world. I believe every visitor will feel mixed here. The entire museum is classified according to different civilizations on all continents, because the history of the collection is known to everyone, so the exhibition is very simple and rude, that is, put a civilized thing in a place, there is no good narrative, it is completely a &quot;trophy&quot; display. There are a lot of collections here, if you want to look good, it takes a day or two. The museum is right next to Central Park, and two places can also be arranged to visit in a day, half a day in the park, half a day in the museum.

Super easy to navigate from metro to ferry through the park. Helpful and friendly staff when you wanted them, not in your face like other tourist attractions which was such a respite. The island was very calm, good cafe, gift shop and views for days. My one criticism would be the painfully juvenile audio tour recoding (brother and sister). I had to stop listening as it was far too cringey!

The best camera position, at least you can take beautiful videos! Except for the iron fence, it is still worth checking in. After all, the Empire State Building is a well-known landmark! It is worth a visit, no need to compare with others, just go!

Visited this museum in New York City for a glance of the famous and original Starry Night painting by Vincent Van Gogh! I&rsquo;m glad that we did pay a visit as the museum visit was a great one! the museum is huge with 5 floors of art paintings and sculptures displays! We spent around 2 hours here, which wasn&rsquo;t sufficient. wish we had more time to spend here! The layout was a little confusing for me, but overall, amazing and artsy museum to visit.

Must go spot while visiting New York City! It&rsquo;s nestled on the fifth Avenue, walk along fifth avenue and Rockefeller Center is easily spotted! there&rsquo;s a ice skating rink during our visit, very lively and buzzing energy! lovely place to explore and for sight seeing! definitely a must go in NYC
