Dunhuang is not a static concept, but a dynamic process of continuous growth and change. Dunhuang condenses all aspects of human life such as culture, art, politics, history, customs, beliefs, nature, and even different civilizations. In this sense, Dunhuang is a mirror reflecting the world of life. The museum takes Dunhuang as its image and Dunhuang culture and art as its cornerstone, hoping to create a visual field for the dialogue between art and contemporary life on the basis of inheriting the oriental background of Chinese culture.
