Join 3-time Juno Award nominated recording artist and author Emm Gryner for a never-been-held-before event where she shares inspirational stories from her time with David Bowie.  There will be refreshments and a Q&A to accompany Emm's special presentation. NOTE: This presentation is a talk and conversation, there will be no music performed.  == Emm Gryner is an award-winning singer, songwriter, actor and best-selling author. Emm has been nominated for three Juno Awards, twice for Pop Album of The Year. Emm s a n g a n d p l a y e d keyboards in David Bowie’s band at the age of 24. Bowie’s acclaimed “Glastonbury 2000” documents her performance in front of more than 100,000 fans at the famous festival.  Gryner helped bring the first music video recorded in outer space to the world when she collaborated with astronaut Chris Hadfield on “Space Oddity”. Her book, “The Healing Power of Singing: Raise Your Voice, Change Your Life (What Touring With David Bowie, Single Parenting and Ditching The Music Business Taught Me in 25 Easy Steps)” (ECW Press) was released in 2021 and became an Amazon bestseller.  In 2022, Emm signed record deals with Legere Records, P-Vine and High Wire Records for her new album release in Europe, Japan, UK & US.
