Join Manus McGrogan for a series of Life Drawing Classes in Brighton and Hove, designed to help you learn and develop your artistic skills. These classes are open to all levels and abilities, creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for everyone.
Each session will feature a live model, allowing you to practice capturing the human form in a variety of poses and perspectives. Please remember to bring your own materials, including A4 and/or A3 white drawing paper, good drawing pencils, charcoal pencils or sticks, black/dark pastels, a rubber, and a sharpener/cutter. If you're unable to bring your own supplies, Manus can provide some for you. Additionally, the venue has boards, desks, and other materials available for use.
Throughout the classes, Manus will provide expert tuition, guiding you through different techniques and aspects of life drawing. The four sessions will cover topics such as foreshortening, drawing hands and feet, portrait drawing focusing on expressions, and the use of color in life drawing.
There will be a 10-minute break during each session, offering an opportunity to relax and enjoy refreshments. To secure your spot, advance booking is recommended. The cost is £20 per class or £70 for all four sessions. Concessions are available at £12 per class or £40 for all four.
