Bristol Longform Comedy presents an exciting opportunity to learn the art of improvising sketch comedy. Led by two expert teachers, this four-week course will equip participants with the skills and techniques needed to unlock their creativity. Taking place in Saint Paul's at the Hamilton House venue, the course will run on Wednesdays from November 15 to December 6, 2023. The sessions will last for three hours each, with the first session starting at 19:30 and the subsequent sessions at 18:30. Whether you are a beginner or looking to enhance your existing skills, this course is designed for anyone interested in sketch-style improv, also known as American long-form. Participants will learn how to find humor in scenes and develop the ability to create comedy on the spot. The course will be taught by Anna Kemp, current artistic director of This Is Your Musical, and Jack Greenwood, founder of the Bournemouth University Improv Society.
