Details

Improv 2: Authentic Relationships is a six-week course designed for adults (18+) who are interested in exploring the world of improvisation. Led by instructor Steven Burnett, this course focuses on the importance of authentic relationships in both life and improv. By participating in acting exercises that emphasize wants/objectives, specificity, and emotional receptivity, participants will learn to tap into moment-to-moment play with their scene partners. The foundation of great improvisation lies in the two person scene, which is why Leela Training Center believes that authentic relationships are crucial to connected co-creation. Through this course, participants will not only develop their improvisational skills, but also enhance their hyper multi-sensory awareness. Prerequisite for this course is Improv 1: Let's Play! The classes will be held on Tuesdays, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, starting on February 27, 2024. The location of the classes will be STUDIO A, Leela Training Center, which is conveniently located just one block away from the Powell MUNI/BART station. To join this course, please meet inside the lobby of the SF Chronicle Building at the 901 Mission entrance by 6:55 PM. Our representative will greet you and direct you to the classroom. Don't miss out on this opportunity to enhance your improvisation skills and develop authentic relationships in a fun and supportive environment. Sign up now for Improv 2: Authentic Relationships!
