Welcome to the GPC Holiday Classic 2023, a highly anticipated event taking place at the picturesque Kiln Creek Pickleball Courts in Newport News, VA. This tournament is open to players of all ages, with age divisions ranging from 14-34 to 60+. Participants will compete in skill divisions of 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0+, ensuring fair and competitive matches. The tournament will feature 6 dedicated outdoor courts, along with 2 temporary pickleball courts created from tennis courts. In total, there will be 10 outdoor pickleball courts available for play. The entry fee per team per event is $50, and all proceeds will contribute to the Gloucester Pickleball Club Association, a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) organization. Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each age group and division. Participants can expect a format that maximizes game play and competition across all skill levels and age groups. In the event of inclement weather, every effort will be made to accommodate matches, with the possibility of a make-up day if necessary. Please note that there are no refunds for entry fees, as they are considered charitable donations.
