The City of West Hollywood is pleased to invite drag artists and supporters to the highly anticipated DRAG ARTISTS ROUNDTABLE (4 in series) at the Plummer Park Community Center. Led by the esteemed Pickle, City of West Hollywood Drag Laureate, these four dynamic sessions promise an enriching experience for all attendees. 

The first meeting, themed DESIGN, will delve into the intricacies of building a captivating drag aesthetic and tackling the associated challenges. Special guest Mindy L'Amour, known for her incredible work on shows such as We're Here and Dancing with the Stars, will demonstrate the art of pattern drafting for sewing. Materials will be provided, making this an invaluable opportunity for both experienced drag artists and those curious about entering the realm of drag.

In the second meeting, the focus shifts to TECHNOLOGY. Participants will explore the potential of social media, AI, and other technological tools that can aid drag artists in their work. Additionally, conversations will be held regarding a drag-specific grant to be proposed to the Weho arts commission. This meeting welcomes all individuals interested in supporting the drag community.

The third meeting aims to provide SOLUTIONS, while the fourth meeting will center around PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. These sessions will undoubtedly foster a sense of camaraderie among drag artists, allowing for the exchange of innovative ideas and the exploration of creative solutions.

DRAG ARTISTS ROUNDTABLE (4 in series) will take place at the Plummer Park Community Center on March 20, 2024, from 5 PM to 6 PM. Best of all, admission is free!
