The Disc Golf Tournament to End Hunger will be taking place at DR Disc Golf in Orrington, ME on Sunday, October 15th, 2023. Brewer Federal Credit Union is organizing this annual event to support the Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign to End Hunger. The tournament will follow a three-person, best throw, team format, and registration will start at 9:00am, with play beginning at 10:00am. Participants can sign up as a team or individually, and DR Disc Golf will provide discs for players without their own equipment. The cost to play is $15.00 per person or $45.00 per team. Prizes from local businesses will be awarded, and after the tournament, pizza and drinks will be served. All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting local food cupboards.
