The Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Show is an interactive event held at The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel in Lincoln, NE. This immensely popular show offers a unique experience where everyone is a suspect, including the guests. The tickets include a 4-course meal, a cash bar, and the opportunity to win prizes.

Unlike other murder mystery dinner shows, The Dinner Detective sets itself apart by eliminating cheesy costumes, campy dialogue, and hokey song and dance routines. The performers are dressed like regular people, making it difficult for guests to determine who is part of the show and who is not. In some cases, guests may be seated with the performers without even realizing it until they "die"...the performers, that is!

Throughout the evening, the Detectives will interrogate everyone and gather clues as the mystery unfolds. At the end of the night, prizes are awarded to the Top Sleuth who successfully solves the crime. The show does not have a specific theme or time period, and the performers are not in costume. Guests can choose whether or not to participate, but should be prepared for possible interaction with other audience members.

Please note that prop guns, simulated gunshots, and short lighting blackouts are used as part of the performance. The show is geared toward adults, and there is a minimum age requirement of 15 years old due to mild adult content, loud noises, and swearing. Business casual or dressy casual attire is required, and certain dress code restrictions apply.
