The Bike Hub at the University of Leeds is pleased to announce the upcoming Bike Maintenance 101 sessions. Designed for both staff and students, these sessions offer the opportunity to learn essential bike maintenance skills and gain confidence in taking care of your own bike. Taking place at the University of Leeds Bike Hub, located in the heart of campus between EC Stoner and Roger Stevens Building, these one-hour training sessions will cover a range of topics. From checking your bike to fixing lights, tyres, brakes, chains, and performing simple adjustments, you'll learn the necessary skills to keep your bike in optimal condition. No prior experience is required, making this accessible to all. Participants are encouraged to bring their own bikes, but if that's not possible, our hub bikes are available for use during the sessions. Attendees will not only leave with the know-how to maintain their bikes but also a newfound confidence to cycle more frequently. Additionally, we hope that you'll share your newly acquired knowledge with friends and family, further spreading the importance of bike maintenance.
