Dual Nature EP release w/ Bad Ham, Wax Duplex, and Dot Cardigan | 9910

Jan 3, 2025 (UTC-7)
Edmonton
Concerts
In 2022, Edmonton noise rock band Dual Nature released their debut full-length album, The End of History. The brooding, post-punk-inspired atmosphere that defined the album resonated with the isolation and bleakness of the early 2020s, capturing the spirit of the time. On their follow-up EP, the band retains the sorrowful, doomsday feeling traversed on The End of History while drawing further inspiration from the relentless and raw brutality of noise rock acts such as The Jesus Lizard and Metz. Communicated via pummeling drums, piercing guitars, gritty, muscular bass, and manic, snarling vocals, the result is a violent synthesis of despair and rage. To celebrate and compliment this new release, the show will also feature the weirdo punk of Wax Duplex, the grungy, unhinged rock of Bad Ham, and the melancholic alternative of Dot Cardigan.
