Ook dit jaar vindt er weer een nieuwe editie van de Design Fair plaats onder de Arcade van het Nieuwe Instituut: dé buitenmarkt voor smaakmakers, met een divers aanbod van uniek design voor elke portemonnee. Net als voorgaande edities dient ook deze Design Fair weer als platform voor jonge ontwerpers. Dit jaar is de groep deelnemers samengesteld door designredacteur en -connaisseur Lorraine Dunkley. Inmiddels ook een vast onderdeel van het programma is een designveiling met collectief Dead Darlings. Daarnaast zijn er workshops, live-muziek, hapjes en drankjes. De ontwerpers en studio’s die deelnemen zijn o.a. Arthur van Buuren, Boris de Beijer, Elsemarijn Bruys, Juki Amsterdam, Myeonga Seo, Studio Verbaan, The Dirt en Thomas Schoonhoven. Toegang tot de Design Fair is € 2,00. Voor tentoonstellingen, waaronder Dutch, More or Less. Hedendaagse architectuur, design en digitale cultuur, gelden de reguliere toegangsprijzen.
