This family-friendly festival, presented in partnership with Fiber and Clay, celebrates the immense talent of our region. Set within the captivating surroundings of the 1892 Hamilton-Worthington Mansion, sprawling meadows, and the historic Quilcene Historical Museum, this festival offers a unique and exciting experience for all.
Immerse yourself in the rich history of fiber arts as you explore the newly restored Victorian mansion, museum, outdoor theatre, and historic barn. From captivating live music performances to engaging workshops, demonstrations, and a diverse selection of vendors, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Discover extraordinary crafts and find amazing holiday gifts, while children delight in hands-on workshops and the opportunity to meet live animals.
Lise Solvang of Fiber and Clay describes the festival as a journey through time, bridging the gap between tradition and innovation. Experience the art of spinning wheels, wool waulking, and felting, alongside modern creations from local artisans. Witness the shearing of sheep, learn the intricacies of knitting, weaving, and felting, and engage with talented hand dyers, spinners, and knitters.
The festival kicks off at 10am and offers ample free parking courtesy of the Quilcene Historical Museum. ADA parking is available behind the mansion, and service animals are welcome indoors. On-leash pets can also join in the festivities in the park. Stay connected with us on Facebook for updates on additional outdoor activities.
