Join the Murga Challenge on October 14, 2023, for a special in-person and online workout in honor of the late CPT Austin A. L. Murga. This Hero WOD event, organized in collaboration with Stop Soldier Suicide, aims to commemorate Austin's life and sacrifice. CPT Austin Murga graduated from the Virginia Military Institute in 2016 and was commissioned as an Infantry Officer in the US Army. The Murga Challenge is a timed workout that consists of 82 Body Weight Squats, followed by 7 rounds of 13 Push-Ups, 16 Burpees, and 20 Kettle Bell Swings. Participants will complete a 400m run between each round, for a total of 7 runs, and finish with a 100m Bear Crawl. We encourage participants to submit their times for the challenge.
