This is the only society in China that has been in existence for over a hundred years and is hailed as the "Number One Society in the World". Despite encountering numerous setbacks throughout its 120-year history, the West Lake Printing Society has always managed to turn adversity into fortune and has reached an unparalleled height comparable to the Himalayas, at an elevation of 38 meters atop the isolated mountain. Who exactly were these four young men, known as the "Four Gentlemen of West Lake"? The documentary "The West Lake Printing Society," which explores this topic, has already won over a dozen awards in China and has been honored with the highest television award, the "Starlight Award," as well as being named one of the "Top Ten Most Influential Documentaries" by the program "Documentary China."
