Beautiful little gem right on the mountain top of Koh Lipe. It has an amazing view from the restaurant and amazing view from room (we booked the one with sea view and did not disappoint!) Unfortunately there are some unused facilities, but I do think that this resort has huge potential could soon be a 5 star!! Staff are kind and helpful, even though sometimes they can’t understand, I guess they deal mostly with Thai tourists but you can understand them easily. Restaurant only serves breakfast (free!) and lunch which is good enough as from 6pm they have free shuttle that takes you to the walking street where you can easily find somewhere to have dinner. Will definitely come back ❤️

The bathroom was half open which was good for drying towels etc. All cottages have a balcony, ours was shaded by trees which kept the room cool though the fan worked well too and we actually slept better than we had in a/c rooms. Only downside to the room was no fridge. It had an old fashioned TV but who watches TV anyway on a Thai island?! Breakfast was included in the price- buffet style with Thai and western dishes. It was nothing special but eatable and enough to put you on until lunch. We liked Ko Lipe and were happy with the room so decided to stay for an extra 2 nights and that’s where we had problems. Again we booked on the hotel website and received a confirmation. We then received an email in broken English which we interpreted as saying the fan bungalows were all full and we would be ‘upgraded’ to an a/c room. We replied that we were already in the room so it would make more sense to upgrade someone else. After getting no response we attempted to clarify the situation with reception. I don’t speak Thai so can’t criticise people for not speaking a foreign language but when dealing with mostly European guests you would expect at least one member of staff to have the basics of English. Unfortunately not. We ended up in a confusion of Google translate messages with a teenage girl who was clearly sick (coughing, sneezing, red eyes and nose) and shouldn’t have been at work. I ended up speaking to ‘a manager’ on the mainland by phone but still couldn’t get any sense from them. Eventually we resorted to replying by email and were eventually told we could stay in the same room. You can go into any tour operator on Walking Street and find staff who speak excellent English. Why the hotel are unable to find staff with foreign language skills is beyond me. My guess is they are employing cheap intern labour from mainland tourism schools which is fine for basic check in and out but they should have at least one person who can communicate with guests if there’s a problem. The majority of rooms seemed empty when we stayed, the exception being the fan rooms which were very good value and always seemed booked out. Maybe the hotel could look at a way of turning off the a/c in some of the bungalows and selling them at a fan room rate? [Points that were not good] About 5 minutes walk to the sandy beach to Walking Street. In the midday when the sun was shining, it was quite hard for 5 minutes. .. There is no pick-up service or luggage carrying service to the pier on the day of arrival and departure. Other hotels had such a service. Well, it can't be helped in terms of the price range here. When we arrived at the immigration office, two Ricci staff came to us, took our luggage, waited for us. They drove us back to the hotel on their motorcycles. As soon as we arrived, we had a coke and delicious pineapple juice. They helped us to get our luggage to our room. Most importantly, the beautiful lady at the counter gave us good advice to watch the sunrise/sunset and also recommended a good massage. This hotel is very close to the pedestrian street, about 15-15 minutes to Sunrise Beach, so the location is very good. There is a 7-11 next to it, so you can buy whatever you want, whenever you want.

Upon arrival at reception, I immediately noticed the sewer and old food smell above the kitchen. -note to self, do not eat here- For the price we paid for a beachfront villa we were handed a plastic card to trade in for a beach towel as if we were at a hostel. Not a very nice beach towel by the way. Over washed and clearly been recycled a few years. The villa (111) was spacious and on the beach. The bathroom is enormous. However, hasn't been cleaned properly in eons. The drain in the shower is open, so don't take your jewelry in with you. Also gives off a powerful aroma of sewage when the shower is going. The villa is walled by glass doors ensuring a great view of the beach and everyone that is planted on the beach and directly next to the villa. The curtains are not blacked out. Very light up at night. The cocktails we ordered from the bar had zero mixers or juice. Tasted more like kerosine than a drink. The Mali resort next door is awesome for cocktails and they let you take it back to the room. Just return the glassware. The bed was not bad - One pillow, really? Do I need another plastic card to trade in? Breakfast- hmm. Caters to Chinese culinary splish splash. Not even Thai options were available. No fresh juice. No musli. No bacon. The meat that is offered is highly mechanically separated and processed. The coffee comes out of a machine, and regardless of the button you choose, it all tastes the same - muddy water. Did I mention the Mali resort? Awesome breakfast options for 250THB. Superb coffee. Overall, we enjoyed the balcony on the beach and the drinks and snacks at the Mali resort. For the price we paid, we'll be back at the Ten Moons Resort.

The incredibly overfylded island can be shared. We don't like it. Others may like this trubble. The resort is directly on the beach, the view falls to a boat parking. Looks like Aldi on Friday afternoon. Only with boats. Permanent noise from the roughly noisy boats, permanent smell from the exhausts. smoke swabs drag over water. If the waste ship is next to it, the smell becomes even more exciting. Also plastic waste is solved from the ship, which is then in the water. The resort is reached through a wasteful, dirty and unusual access. The staff smiles friendly, but is otherwise helpless to unwilling. Take clothes to wash, didn't go back. Not too. Breakfast is insufficient, coffee is unsuitable, so we took coffee from the bar to breakfast against payment. The bungalows with sea view are ok size. It is cleaned (inadequately). The floor (PVC) is broken and has holes. The bathroom has only a dark light. The door is only 1,70m high. So buckle when screwing. Air conditioning works. But it drops condensation water to the plant below. The ratio between cost and performance is not suitable at all.

Overall was nice. Came in late so just a place to sleep. The beach is not for swimming as mostly big boulders. But the pool is super warm and super nice with lots of outside seating in the shade or in the sun. The room was huge and comfortable but the curtains didn't block the light enough for me as I'm use to blackout curtains and some noise from the street and hallways. The breakfast was gigantic buffet and very good. Even for western taste. Lots of fruit options and cereals, eggs, toast. Plus local food. Parking was good.

We liked the room but there’s an area for improvement: you can see some impurities here and there: old bedsheets with stains, the tub in the bathroom with some part falling off. They are not big, but better to fix them. The breakfast is amazing, a lot of options, even the noodles station, the roti station, ice cream and bloodie mary station hahaha A lot of good fruits such as rambutan, passion fruits, etc. not just watermelon and dragon fruits like at other hotels across Thailand. Sunrise beach itself is a bit disappointing because of the amount of boats there and almost no place to swim but this hotel has the designated beach where you can enjoy swimming and definitely some good sunsets. Overall it’s a good place to stay for more than a day if you want to stay at the sunrise Beach area, but my personal favorite is the North pole beach (20-25 min walk along the beach). Things to improve: - service staff should be careful with bags, I know they try to be helpful but one of the guys broke a handle of my carry on bag. - Starbacks cafe on the beach — this is a disaster, they advertise other as a Starbucks coffee shop, with the original drinks and recipes but for 180 thb they will give you iced milk instead of iced cappuccino. Better to buy some good medium roast beans from the Borth of Thailand and serve proper coffee. You don’t need that Starbucks brand definitely.

It is situated between sunrise and sunset beaches with small but beautiful private beach with island view and golden sand. We had a parter pull view room. It was modern fubrished but with a zing of Thai elements. Very clean and filled with everything you could need. Staff is very helpful! Hotel picked us up from the speedboat and also gave us a ride back. Breakfasts are very European( which can be a plus or minus depends on your need) , so if you would like to try something local you need to go out outside. We had a chance to see most of the hotels on the island and this one is our favourite by a mile!

Brokasa is the first-class hotel on Lipe Island, second only to Irene next to it, but the location is better than Irene, right on the beautiful Tail Beach. The hotel price includes a relatively delicious breakfast, free taxis to go out at any time before 6 pm, free use of kayaks, free minibar, free capsule coffee machine, more complete toiletries, etc., so, on the whole, the high price is also reasonable. The service staff and residents of the entire Lipe Island are relatively enthusiastic. Before coming, I saw the bad reviews of the hotel, and I was always nervous. After staying here, I felt that this hotel was not a thunder. The service was very good, and it was also very enthusiastic without tipping. The room was large, the round bed was large, and it was enough for two adults and one child. Children under 12 years old have 360🐷 a night with breakfast, and the air conditioning is sufficient. The hotel has two rows of ”single-family villas”. The first row has an infinity pool by the sea, and the second row is a few steps to the sea. I thought the swimming pool was public. I went to someone else's swimming pool on the first day and was complained. It was a bit embarrassing. To the right of Brokasa is the Zodiac (it’s relatively old, but the Zodiac beach bar is very atmospheric and there are fire shows at night). Next to the Zodiac is Irene, the most expensive hotel in Koh Lipe with the best facilities.

If we have to pick a place to name paradise on earth, surely it would be the Cliff. Rooms with spectacular view of the sea, with a lot of privacy, excellent for couples. We stayed in the room with a jacuzzi and it was incredible. It is located in a remote part of the island, but the Resort provides a transport service to downtown. Also, if you like to walk, the resort is 10 to 15 min away walk through the beach. The service provided was the best that we had in Thailand. It has its own private beach and it has free snorkeling and kayaking gear to use whenever we want. The Restaurant in the hotel serves very delicious food, the quantity and the quality of the food goes according to the price. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Both, the front desk and housekeeping team did an incredible job in order to give us the best experience. And we have to name the resort Manager, Charlie, who was always there to help us and advise us about what to do on the island.

Every once and a while you enter a property that transports you to another plane—certainly physically, more than likely emotionally, and possibly even spiritually. Serendipity delivers on all fronts. The ocean-view villa made me pine for loved ones, as I initially felt guilty for experiencing such a property by myself. I imagined my folks opening the shuttered windows and gazing out at the sunrise each morning. I wished my niece and nephew were sitting on the villa-wide balcony, keeping me company. Yet as the days passed, I fell comfortably in love with being alone in such a magnetic space. Steps from the most intimate, private stretch of Sunrise Beach, Serendipity balances up-scale bohemia with laid-back sophistication. The owner, fortunately, is also a chef—noted in each dish served. Welcoming and gregarious, he was approachable without being overbearing. Honeymoon—yes. Intimate anniversary—absolutely. Elderly parents—possibly a challenge due to the inclined stairways. This is an exceptional resort. It’s location is Beautiful with its own private beach and yet 5 min walk to the main beaches. The rooms are beautiful each with its own pool and terrace. The are meticulously cleaned daily. The breakfast is incredible, all eaten with a view of the ocean. Nam, the chef cooks local Thai dishes to a very high standard. there was also great choices for our 3 young children (8,7 and 3) …chips/burgers etc We felt like royalty when we were there. The staff are super attentive and think of everything. Yoni, the bar tender and one of the waiters is incredible at his job and is a real asset to the resort, making each guest feel very well cared for. There was an issue with the card machine that made payments tricky but this is getting fixed. All in all, a huge thank-you to all the staff at Casa de Lipe, we will be rebooking!!

The rooms are separated into houses in the resort area. The interior is clean, the bathrooms are good, and there are many check-in photo spots. Free-range rabbits around the hotel You can take pictures with the rabbits at any time. During the stay, the weather is hot, so the air conditioner cools very slowly. Parking is convenient, but you have to open and close the fence yourself because you're wary of rabbits coming out. Overall, I recommend V-Volley.

Also, if you like to walk, the resort is 10 to 15 min away walk through the beach. The service provided was the best that we had in Thailand. It has its own private beach and it has free snorkeling and kayaking gear to use whenever we want. The Restaurant in the hotel serves very delicious food, the quantity and the quality of the food goes according to the price. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Both, the front desk and housekeeping team did an incredible job in order to give us the best experience. And we have to name the resort Manager, Charlie, who was always there to help us and advise us about what to do on the island.

Every once and a while you enter a property that transports you to another plane—certainly physically, more than likely emotionally, and possibly even spiritually. Serendipity delivers on all fronts. The ocean-view villa made me pine for loved ones, as I initially felt guilty for experiencing such a property by myself. I imagined my folks opening the shuttered windows and gazing out at the sunrise each morning. I wished my niece and nephew were sitting on the villa-wide balcony, keeping me company. Yet as the days passed, I fell comfortably in love with being alone in such a magnetic space. Steps from the most intimate, private stretch of Sunrise Beach, Serendipity balances up-scale bohemia with laid-back sophistication. The owner, fortunately, is also a chef—noted in each dish served. Welcoming and gregarious, he was approachable without being overbearing. Honeymoon—yes. Intimate anniversary—absolutely. Elderly parents—possibly a challenge due to the inclined stairways. This is an exceptional resort. It’s location is Beautiful with its own private beach and yet 5 min walk to the main beaches. The rooms are beautiful each with its own pool and terrace. The are meticulously cleaned daily. The breakfast is incredible, all eaten with a view of the ocean. Nam, the chef cooks local Thai dishes to a very high standard. there was also great choices for our 3 young children (8,7 and 3) …chips/burgers etc We felt like royalty when we were there. The staff are super attentive and think of everything. Yoni, the bar tender and one of the waiters is incredible at his job and is a real asset to the resort, making each guest feel very well cared for. There was an issue with the card machine that made payments tricky but this is getting fixed. All in all, a huge thank-you to all the staff at Casa de Lipe, we will be rebooking!!

Beautiful little gem right on the mountain top of Koh Lipe. It has an amazing view from the restaurant and amazing view from room (we booked the one with sea view and did not disappoint!) Unfortunately there are some unused facilities, but I do think that this resort has huge potential could soon be a 5 star!! Staff are kind and helpful, even though sometimes they can’t understand, I guess they deal mostly with Thai tourists but you can understand them easily. Restaurant only serves breakfast (free!) and lunch which is good enough as from 6pm they have free shuttle that takes you to the walking street where you can easily find somewhere to have dinner. Will definitely come back ❤️

We booked to stay in a fan cottage for 3 nights via the hotel’s own website which had a rate of 900THB per night which seemed better than that on booking engines. First impressions were that it’s a large ‘resort’ right on the beach next to where the speedboat ferries dock and adjacent to Walking Street which is 5 minutes walk away (though we heard no noise from it). There are a range of rooms- cottages with a/c and a block of rooms which also had a/c. There are about a dozen fan only cottages at the rear of the complex. Ours was rustic but clean with intact insect screens and a large bed. The bathroom was half open which was good for drying towels etc. All cottages have a balcony, ours was shaded by trees which kept the room cool though the fan worked well too and we actually slept better than we had in a/c rooms. Only downside to the room was no fridge. It had an old fashioned TV but who watches TV anyway on a Thai island?! Breakfast was included in the price- buffet style with Thai and western dishes. It was nothing special but eatable and enough to put you on until lunch. We liked Ko Lipe and were happy with the room so decided to stay for an extra 2 nights and that’s where we had problems. Again we booked on the hotel website and received a confirmation. We then received an email in broken English which we interpreted as saying the fan bungalows were all full and we would be ‘upgraded’ to an a/c room. We replied that we were already in the room so it would make more sense to upgrade someone else. After getting no response we attempted to clarify the situation with reception. I don’t speak Thai so can’t criticise people for not speaking a foreign language but when dealing with mostly European guests you would expect at least one member of staff to have the basics of English. Unfortunately not. We ended up in a confusion of Google translate messages with a teenage girl who was clearly sick (coughing, sneezing, red eyes and nose) and shouldn’t have been at work. I ended up speaking to ‘a manager’ on the mainland by phone but still couldn’t get any sense from them. Eventually we resorted to replying by email and were eventually told we could stay in the same room. You can go into any tour operator on Walking Street and find staff who speak excellent English. Why the hotel are unable to find staff with foreign language skills is beyond me. My guess is they are employing cheap intern labour from mainland tourism schools which is fine for basic check in and out but they should have at least one person who can communicate with guests if there’s a problem. The majority of rooms seemed empty when we stayed, the exception being the fan rooms which were very good value and always seemed booked out. Maybe the hotel could look at a way of turning off the a/c in some of the bungalows and selling them at a fan room rate? In summary, we were happy with the location of the hotel, the facilities and the room. The stay was spoilt somewhat by a disorgan

[Points that were not good] About 5 minutes walk to the sandy beach to Walking Street. In the midday when the sun was shining, it was quite hard for 5 minutes. .. There is no pick-up service or luggage carrying service to the pier on the day of arrival and departure. Other hotels had such a service. Well, it can't be helped in terms of the price range here. Breakfast is mediocre and nothing intriguing. I used it only once and then went to another restaurant to eat. The sea in front of me is beautiful. Excellent hotel! The best of all that stayed in this area before leaving to Lipa. I suppose it is positioned as a hotel to rest before traveling through the islands of the national natural park. Friendly staff. Style and comfortable rooms, comfortable bed, noisy air conditioner. Excellent breakfast on the menu. Wonderful small pool. And opposite the hotel across the sea road. Yes, the hotel is a bit far from the pier, no shops in step-by-step availability. But on the other hand there are several cafes with a view on the sea (dinner in Satun Sashimi, we liked), massage salon (not visited), and on the right in a couple of steps you can try local dishes (noodles, rice, soups) at very pleasant prices. After the eviction, the staff took us to the pier. Recommended hotel!

I was impressed with the hotel the rooms are very big with a nice balcony the staff were really helpful. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast which isn’t normally to my taste in first thing in the morning but there’s a lot of things to choose from most freshly prepared. I also had a nice evening meal at the hotel which they cooked fresh for me I would definitely recommend. Nearby massage place was excellent as well and good value for being attached to hotel.

Overall was nice. Came in late so just a place to sleep. The beach is not for swimming as mostly big boulders. But the pool is super warm and super nice with lots of outside seating in the shade or in the sun. The room was huge and comfortable but the curtains didn't block the light enough for me as I'm use to blackout curtains and some noise from the street and hallways. The breakfast was gigantic buffet and very good. Even for western taste. Lots of fruit options and cereals, eggs, toast. Plus local food. Parking was good.

For budget hotel, this hotel considered worth the money. The room is quite old, toilet is quite smelly. But consider okay for a budget hotel. The location is far from shops, need to drive if you want to find food.

Clean rooms, soft beds, comfortable beds, wide bathrooms, no refrigerators, suitable for staying overnight. The staff speaks very well, very cute, good service, reasonable price, suitable for having a private car.

No problem, first class service

Arrived on 30 sep after a long drive from Singapore. For the price, im very pleased. It is very spanking clean. A small establishment, worth to support them. My review may also be skewered coz i think the owners are cat lovers haha so If you love cats come and support them! We were able to park our car securely in their premises (gates closed in the evening). Simple, but near to various shops, eatery, a great massage place and 5min walk frm the pier for those heading to Koh Lipe. This is not a fancy hotel, but really a good choice for short stays and proximity to many places. Also near to the view point and beach!

The room was super clean and very romantic. Every morning you see the sunrise directly from the room. I stayed 7 next. The resort is located directly at Mu Ko Phetra National Park, The Time Travel Zone. I jogged in the park every morning. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. I arrived without car, but the son of the owner and the indigenous people have driven me every day. You can book different tour directly from the resort. I made ” one day trip” and yet 2 private boat trips. You were really mega beautiful. We'll see you soon ...Satun. Jai
