This is my third stay in this hotel and it seems I've been coming back to this same hotel every time I'm in KK.. My first time was more than 20 years back. It seems this hotel has been very good with its upkeep and has been refurbished and renovated. The look and feel is as though it is a new hotel. It seems the upkeep and the room has been refurbished with a new look. And the toilet is really nice. Congratulations.keep up the good work and I like the reception services. Will definitely come back again.

A stunning hotel with poor service. The location is perfect for those looking to get from the airport and into relaxing mode. The amenities are first class and the food options are good. But, The service is so poor in comparison to the Shangri-la Ria rasa, just down the road. After staying at both, it feels like different companies. Before I arrived I asked both hotels for excursion and activity reccomendations. Ria rasa helped and booked multiple exciting tours. This hotel didn't respond multiple times, so I chased and emailed again and again. Eventually being sent a link to an excursion company with tons of 3-5 day jungle tours. This was a two night stay. When we arrived I asked again about activities. I was sent to a desk that nobody was stood at, waited for far too long, found a qr code messaged and was told it wasn't their job. Eventually in the guest handbook I found the contact details for fishing and boat tour. I didn't get a reply until after all the next days tours had departed with a message saying we are full. Honestly if you have the choice I would highly recommend the slightly longer transfer and head to the Shangri-la Ria Rasa instead. You'll be treated well, the hotel is more relaxing and the staff acknowledge your existence.

I also dined at the hotel restaurant, where both the food and service were outstanding—especially the breakfast buffet, which offered fresh and delicious options. Location-wise, it’s ideally situated for sightseeing, shopping, and dining, with many attractions within easy walking distance. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the level of care the staff put into ensuring my stay was perfect. Overall, Cititel made my trip unforgettable. Room very spacious. Bed is very comfy. The only downside is, it's very difficult to find parking around the vicinity. Overall, it's a great stay. Will come back again to stay here in future as the location is very convenient. Restaurants and coffee shops are just within short walking distance.

Very good location. Nearby Philippine market, Gaya Street (night market on Saturday night & wet market on Sunday morning), convenient stores, restaurants. All within walking distance. Also, karaoke, saloon, massage (rm50/hr) within walking distance too. There are Angkut Van in front of the hotel that can bring u to many other cities such as Kota Belud, Ranau, Marudu etc. There's bus to Uitm & UPM too. Only thing is iron board is a outside room (sharing basis-location in front of lift) and the hair dryer is attached to the bathroom and takes so long to dry hair)

The only hotel in DesignHotelsTM group in Borneo island! The lobby and room design, coffee, cocktail and food quality is probably the best you'll find in Sabah and its at par with Singapore standards. The hotel doesn't just give you the environment of a design hotel, great coffee, bespoke cocktails, delicious food but it also offers true Sabahian hospitality that you will not experience anywhere else. As soon as I arrived, one of the hotel owners personally came and greeted me and spend his time to give me a tour and explain the concept of the hotel and its design. The design of the hotel is influenced by different Sabahian landscapes and local craftsmanship depicted through contemporary means. Materials and craft is all sourced locally. I had the chance to meet both the owners and their hospitality was unprecedented. They took their time to get to know me and introduce Sabah and its culture. Something that you will not experience at big chain hotels. The LUMA is a brand new hotel group. There will always be room for improvement in their services. The willingness to improve is there and they listen if you have any complaints or needs.

I would just rate it like a 4 stars hotel. Don’t expect too much, and it will be great. Breakfast just normal, waitstaff was a bit inattentive, not sure which table bring us to. didn’t book a seaview room, but my room was totally a blocked view 🤣. Can only see a huge rooftop of other buildings. But the room is clean, cleaning service quite good, I asked for more water and they did gave me more. One of the highlight could be their pool. Great sea view, I enjoyed it a lot. location is decent, still need to walk a bit to reach the main city area.

Stay in Deluxe room, spacious, ample solid wood furnishing, bed, sliding wooden door curtain gave a antique warm feel, bathtub was a treat, many newer hotel wouldn't have bathtub for RM150 per night, marble bathroom floor and sinktop, looks wee b it aged but functions well. Personally for environmental friendliness, it is better to maintain quality aged furnishing in hotel rather than continuously dismantling older furnishing to change to new ones which likely to be of less quality, like no longer solid wood or marble. Lobby and breakfast area also have marble floor, lavish chandelier, wood frame walls. Breakfast though limited choice was quite tasty. Just one suggestion: please provide milk for coffee rather than just using creamer pack.

Strategically located. Near to shopping malls and other eateries nearby. Clean and comfy. Need an upgrade of their interior room design. Traditional hotel style. Room still relevant. Value for money.

Overall our 2-night stay at Hyatt Centric KK was comfy n relaxing. The lobby n top floor lounge ambience is excellent~feeling of calmness. Rooms are spacious n clean with beautiful sunset seaview. We especially like the bathroom with sitting bench~ a considerate design for guests who prefer to sit n shower. Restaurant staff were very well-mannered n helpful. The hotel is well located just opposite the Sabah Suria shopping mall, so it's very convenient if you wish to dine out or shop around…

Hyatt regency lives up to its brand in Sabah! Exemplary hospitality, ultra clean room, great location, wonderful breakfast spreads and awesome staff! No regrets taking the club lounge option with sea view, even the lounge food was exceptionally delicious, kudos to the chef! A tad old in terms of furnishings but it retains the classic style of early 2000s, bringing good memories of my travels and staying in various Hyatt.

it was a beautiful spot to see the sunset. Unfortunately during our stay the weather was not so great, we couldn't see the famous sunset. The breakfast was great and room was great. I will visit here If I am ever in town again. I love the swimming pool. The package was somewhat useful but can be better. The only complaint I have is the snorkeling aera. It was small, dirty and no so much fun. Anyway I enjoy my satu

The room I will give 8/10 too old. The view from my room can't focus to sunset because too many trees, I think they forgot to trimmed but, it's okey. A bit disappointed about the food. the dinner in cafe bole. I ordered for lamb steak 80myr but very hard to chew 5/10 and the blackpepper sauce tasteless 5/10. The nasi goreng kampung too many sugar added haven't finished my dinner. The breakfast time, i cannot finished my dessert, my nasi goreng and the fried noodles. Overall for breakfast I give 7/10. Otherwise the staff very helpful and respectful.

The staffs were friendly, the room was clean. Only we got the superior room instead deluxe room. We booked deluxe room with bathtub. But nevermind, the room was given near to the lift, easy to go up and down with kids. The food also delicious and variaty. Only the toast finished and the staff didnt fill up. We are not informed by the staff any complimentary. The grass long in field area. All ok, we will recommend this resort to everybody. Excellent facilities and sceneries. Overall is excellent.

After a long trip arrived at hotel and quickly signed in. We were upgraded to a fantastic room, however phone and TV not working but a great balcony view of the South. China Sea and to the left the jungle. It was lovely to sit and watch the various birds and fireflies. Malaysia Airlines had lost one of our bags and did not seem concerned however after no success we spoke with James at reception who soon sorted it out and it arrived at 9pm. One day wasted Thanks Malaysia Airlines. The next day we had a leisurely breakfast plentiful and good choices of Malay and Western. Very courteous staff. Saw our first monitor lizard and had a garden tour by. a very informative employee Roy. Decided against the nature walk as advised not much to see this time of year. Spent most the day on the empty beach ( Some jellyfish but otherwise a nice dip) and in empty swimming pool. 3 linked pools lovely and warm but needs some maintenance and jacuzzi not working. Only a couple of restaurants were open and although quality of food was good the menus were similar. On our last day we had a very good Chinese style meal in The Noble House (Only open until early evening). As with most meals we were the only ones in the restaurant. All meals were very reasonably priced. The advertised firefly. tour was cancelled due to low tide but Christina arranged a private trip to see them and also the proboscis monkey. Well worth it. . Points to Note Low occupancy with the majority of guests staying overnight only, meant we had pools and beach to ourselves and the restaurants were virtually empty. Disadvantage was that some restaurants. and snack places did not open. Lovely remote location fantastic view , beach and garden walks however nothing in walking distance of the resort so unless taking a. taxi or day trip would not see or meet other local people restaurants or shops. Note the hotel shop has very limited souvenirs and only a few crisps and drinks. We had a great relaxing time, the hotel needs some updating and maintenance but that did not affect our.enjoyment. Staff were helpful and courteous and room clean and well stocked with water tea and coffee. A/C fine. So if you want a relaxing beach and pool holiday with good food and when we were there tranquility we recommend Nexus. PS book trips at the hotel as the one we booked through our agent was about 3 times more.

The hotel is very good. Overall, it is good. The boss can speak Chinese, communication is barrier-free, the service is also very good, the new swimming pool check-in is also very good, the environment is good, although it is in the suburbs, but the boss arranged the dock pick-up very conveniently. It is much better than the dock hotel I stayed the night before. The hotel at the dock is really hard to describe. I will book this hotel again next time. It is worth recommending. Like a farmhouse? The room is relatively big. The owner's service is very good and enthusiastic. He took us to buy seafood and helped us bargain quickly. We didn't have to work so hard for half a day. The dogs in the hotel are very cute and well-behaved. But the chicken keeps barking for some reason when he sleeps at night. There are always noises in the house. It feels like a monkey or some other animal. The seafood prices are very good. The restaurants in the town are very good. The bath water is very big and the water temperature is stable and hot enough. The curtains are not enough to block the light. The lights in the corridor outside are very bright and seem to be unable to be turned off. It is not suitable for going to bed early. My friend, the soundproofing is not very good, after all, the wooden house

It rained for several days when I arrived in Semporna. After canceling the sea trip, I could only stare blankly in a corner of the manor. I heard singing in a daze, and when I woke up, I saw the cat and dog sleeping beside me. At that moment, I felt like I was in a fairy tale.

Staying in Sempoorna town was a delightful experience, and this resort made our visit truly special. Sempoorna town is relatively small and apart from diving, hiking, island hopping there is not much things to do. If you're planning to spend more than 2-3 days in the area, I highly recommend considering this resort. Conveniently located just 10 minutes away from Sempoorna town by boat, the resort offers a tranquil escape. The staff and owner here are not only friendly but also incredibly cooperative, ensuring a warm welcome and a comfortable stay throughout. The rooms are clean and thoughtfully equipped, providing a luxurious experience. The surrounding beautiful sea is a highlight, adorned by starfish and other fishes. While the included food may not be the centerpiece of the experience, it is satisfactory, mainly featuring delicious Chinese cuisine. The staff and owner go the extra mile to share details about the resort, snorkeling gear, and any assistance you may need. During our stay, they arranged an unforgettable island-hopping tour, adding an extra layer of excitement to our visit.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sky Water Villa in Semporna. The villa is beautifully designed and impeccably clean. The king sized bed was comfortable, ensuring restful nights under the stars. One of the highlights of the stay was the all-inclusive buffet dining, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. The afternoon tea with snacks was a lovely touch, providing a perfect mid day treat after our island hopping and snorkeling or hiking. Free wifi available at the restaurant and lobby area. The staff were exceptional, friendly and accomodating. A standout feature was the free use of snorkeling equipment and life jackets. Although the area around the villa does not feature coral reefs, the sand bank during low tide is a unique experience. It's a perfect spot for a leisurely walk and to observe the stunning starfish scattered across the shallow water. During snorkeling, we also spotted some sea turtles, some colourful fish and even swordfish. The reef is only near the jetty area which is very deep and has strong current. We had a relaxing and wonderful time living over the ocean with a touch of adventure. Highly recommended!

Friends' feedback: The rooms are relatively new and the environment is OK, but the target customers are foreigners, not Chinese. The restaurant does not have knives and forks, so it is too difficult for them to use chopsticks. In addition, the restaurant is a buffet, and many of the favorite foods are gone a little later. The supply is not timely, just like many domestic buffets, and there is nothing to eat a little later. They can accept it if they go diving. The only bad thing is that the windows are not well sealed. There are people working outside at 8 or 9 in the morning, and it is a little bit super.

I’m traveling with my baby by myself, and since I’m traveling abroad, I still have a lot of worries before traveling. But booking this hotel solved all the problems and I was very happy on this trip. 1. Contact mango before traveling to ask any questions you don’t know. 2. After arriving at the hotel, the hotel established a group. You can ask the butler for all questions. The butler provides Chinese service and will reply in seconds, which is great. 3. The hotel environment is very good and quiet. It is about 5 kilometers away from the town, but the hotel has a shuttle bus, which is very convenient. If you really can't catch the bus, you can ask the housekeeper to help me take a taxi. It's about 13 horses. The housekeeper helped me take a taxi that day, but the driver said that I brought wet clothes (packed in plastic bags) and wouldn't let me get on the bus, so the housekeeper came to pick me up. We, the service was very good. Although the hotel in the town is close to the pier, the environment is too bad and noisy. 4. The hotel uses Chinese plugs, so there is no need to bring an adapter. 5. The arrangement is very reasonable. In Semporna, there are all one-day tour groups. I booked them with mango. I found that it was a little cheaper than the same boat. I booked 3 lines and got free airport pick-up and drop-off. I ordered 5 lines and I am very satisfied with each one. But you must remember that we went to play on the last day of the Lover's Bay project. It was so exciting that I woke up with backache the next day. 6. I have been hesitant about whether to sign up for the mangrove forest. Some of the information on the Internet is boring. Since we arrived at the hotel at 9 a.m. and had no plans for the afternoon, there was really nothing to do, so we signed up and went to have a look. The children said that they were lucky to have signed up. They had never seen so many stars before. The sky was covered with fireflies. Large swaths of fireflies flew out of the mangroves. It was so shocking. They even saw the Monkey King. The tour guide said that you have to try your luck to see these. 7. The fish caught in the sea is not processed by Internet celebrity shops. It is processed by any shop on the pier. It is also super delicious. 8. All one-day tours are provided in Chinese, so don’t worry, the guys are warm and friendly.

1. The price is low, and the sanitation and comfort inside are really surprising. (I stayed in Semporna for 7 days, and the hotel I didn't use every day ranged from 200+ to 2500+ during the holidays. I ranked this hotel second in terms of comfort). 2. This hotel has a pier pick-up service once in the morning and evening, and it doesn't have pick-up like other hotels at other times. The question is: You also said it was other hotels, but we are a homestay here. PS: The boss's Chinese level is really high and he can pronounce words well. (Here is a special note, it is not easy to get a taxi in Semporna Town, and you often have to wait for 30-60 minutes, and it is very expensive to take a taxi at night. If you add the travel expenses, the price and convenience of this hotel will have no advantage) 3. It is recommended to stay here if you are good at English or Malay. It is really not easy to communicate with the front desk.

It is 15 minutes away from the town or the pier without traffic jams, and 25 minutes with traffic jams. If there is more deviation, 50 Malaysian ringgits will be charged each time, but it is safe and the vehicle is in good condition, so it is worth it. 4. The restaurant can arrange for the processing of seafood, and the vehicle will be sent to buy, then picked up, and then processed. The taste of the seafood is very good, not worse than the pier restaurant. The processing fee is also transparent and fair. 5.
