Standing on the corner of the balcony and sticking your head out, you can see a corner of the sea view. I originally thought that the sea view room displayed by Ctrip was a low-area sea view, and the supreme sea view was a high-area sea view, but it turned out not. It is suggested that Ctrip change the ”sea view room” to ”side sea view”, and ”extreme sea view” can be called ”sea view room”. Second, this is a service provided by a third-party company linked to Ctrip. I booked a double room with a sofa. The hotel said that I booked a family room. Check in, don't need so many beds. Then I ran to the front desk to complain, saying that I would add money to upgrade the sea view room. A small woman wearing glasses at the front desk of the hotel is very hypocritical. She clearly has a vacant room, but repeatedly emphasizes that the room is full, and it is not possible to add money. She just doesn't want to change my room. The staff were all nice. I would not say its a true five star hotel in that the towels are small, paper napkins at breakfast and a coffee machine at breakfast to get your own, never seen this before, but the staff will help you. But probably the best new hotel in the middle of the town. We had a junior suite, this is very small, with a small lounge which is next to pizza bar and on Saturday night a loud bass music noise. Also you can hear people walking on the room above. I would take a sea view room on the top floor or larger size sea view room with a terrace next time. I do not think this a hotel for children. The spa was average.

One of the best places to stay in Hvar. The main street is about a 10-minute walk, but there is a service that brings your luggage to the marina during check-in and check-out, so it's not too much of a problem. Rather, I was very grateful that I was able to see the sea of Hvar to my heart's content while taking a walk. There is a private beach and a swimming pool, so you can enjoy playing in the water. Even if the room doesn't necessarily have an ocean view, it's pretty good ^^

My husband and I had a perfect stay here as part of our 20th anniversary trip. The property was charming and spotless, the room large and quiet, the shower wonderful, and breakfast in the garden patio was delicious. The owners and staff are kind and helpful. They arranged parking in a paid secure lot for us ahead of time and even met us there with the keycard. It was above and beyond what I expected. I appreciated the eco-nature of the hotel: automatic lights in the hallways and stairs as well as selecting breakfast options the night before so no food would be wasted. Our made-to-order food came out hot and delicious. Having the ability to truly control the room's temperature is often rare in our European travels, and was greatly appreciated. It makes such a difference for sleep. The pedestrian street is a quick walk that leads directly to the Silver Gate of Diocletian's palace. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

This is a modern building, very clean, wifi internet access and very good parking spaces. The breakfast is also good. It is a level that can be fully enjoyed. The restaurant is very spacious and easy to use. In the morning, the staff will ask you if you need a special breakfast, but you do not have to pay extra. Breakfast is enough. It is about a 15-20 minute walk from the old town, but the adults outside are medium. The bus is nearby, so take a bus. The hotel is located in a modern building, excellent breakfast, Wi-Fi, bathroom, air conditioning, parking lot There is no inconvenience for newlyweds, and families with children are far from the old town, so you should take a bus or taxi. I drink coffee (Korean standard) at the cafe on the first floor of the hotel, but it is really cheap. It is much cheaper than Korea.

The Hotel is nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. I enjoyed the homey atmosphere. However, there are a few things one should be aware of before booking: The hotel is in the historic district just about 5 min walk west from the Prominade area. Taxis cannot drive in, so it is necessary to walk in with one's baggage. Also, any excursions will start with a walk out of the area to the main taxi stand. Navigating the area can be a challenge the first couple of times; one MUST have the ability to use their maps app. T-mobile - America has an international plan that give you up to 2G speed unlimited data and texting, but I highly recommend getting a local sim card. Look at the map of the city before choosing this hotel. There are a lot of nice restaurants within 2-5 minutes walking. Furthermore, the office closes from 11pm till 7am. Most importantly, they DO NOT take credit cards. IF you did not pay for the room online, you will need local cash, and you will need it to pay the taxes on the room, and for a taxi if you booked it through the hotel. Cash only. (They do have a zelle option, but I could not get it to work. I recommend cash. Speaking of cash, one should get it from an actual bank ATM as the rates 11% vs the 22-25% some private ATMs charge.) I give the hotel 4 of 5 for comfort, 5/5 for cleanliness, 3 or 5 for location. I'd give this hotel

Good location, beautiful views and small rooms. Service was good overall, but uncle was weaker when checking out. I couldn't find the bill I signed for consumption. The hotel documents issued were all in local language and I couldn't understand. In addition to the room rate, there are also city taxes, insurance fees (I do n’t know what insurance is covered), and registration fees (I do n’t know what to note). It was said that the packaged breakfast was not available. I later complained and replied that I did not take it. The restaurant and room service are very good, and the front desk service is also very good during the day, that is, when checking out early in the morning, the uncle's ability to communicate is too weak. We were staying with small kids off-season and we are absolutely satisfied with our stay. The food is excellent, very good selection, tasty, much better than even in some 5 star hotels. The SPA area is excellent and staff there were very nice. Parking available, rooms excellent, clean, comfortable.. We have also received a kids step stool and toilet seat adapter, as well as shampoos and soaps for kids, which pleasantly surprised us. The Maro club for kids deserves special praise and the staff in it is for every recommendation. We owe a special thanks to Eva, Dora, Elena and a guy from the Maro club. Our kids have never had so much fun and brought back so many wonderful memories. 💖💖💖💙 Also, Perisa and others at the reception are very nice... The location of the hotel is excelent👌 All in all, we felt very comfortable and happy at Valamar Meteor Hotel and hope to come again.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the beautiful port town of Makarska. This was our first visit to Croatia and this hotel but we will definatley return. The Hotel is exactly as decribed but so much more beautiful than the photos convey. Its nestled in the corner of the port just accross from the main street of restraunts and bars. The staff were welcoming and so helpful in so many ways including advice about trips and excursions. The rooms are spacious and the sea views are spectacular definatley worth it. We had chosen B&B the breakfast was plentiful with an excellent variety, something for everyone. All fresh and constantly replaced. We chose to eat in the restaurant for lunch and dinner a number of times. The restaurant is located at the front of the hotel with the view of the port, they have created privacy but with the beauty of the views. The food was of excellent standard hence us choosing to eat here despite Makarska having a number of beautiful restaurants to choose from. I wish to highlight we never once heard any noise at all from the nightclub. We heard passers by on the odd occasion but nothing disruptive. The party boat does occasionally have loud noise but it is only when docking, this would not in anyway spoil anyones holiday in my opinion and would like to allay any concerns anyone looking at this hotel may have becuase of other reviews. Everyone we spoke to at the hotel all enjoyed their stay and complimented the hotel. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Do not look anywhere else!!! This was our favorite hotel out of our whole Croatia trip! We came during low season so it was relatively quiet but we liked it a lot. I am sad I forgot to ask for our concierge’s name as he was super helpful and literally helped us thru our 2 nights in Hvar! We wanted to do a boat tour to the blue/ green caves but it was closed due to the weather so he suggested a private tour around the island for us and we had so much fun! The restaurants he suggested were excellent and he was so patient as I had a million questions since I was trying to find things to do. Everyone at the hotel made you feel very welcoming, breakfast was included and it was super nice as well. Our waiter came by and offered us some fresh off the oven croissant and that was delicious!! We were so glad he came by! Make sure you sit outside for the view! We also used the Spa and it was quiet nice also. I wish the pool gets heated up more as it was a bit too cold to swim in at this time of the year. I also love their toiletries and I am very picky with that. Plus they have heated floors in the bathroom!! Our room was spotless and location of the hotel is great! If you come from the ferry, make sure you look out for the hotel sign and they will bring your luggages on the buggy for you. We can’t wait to come back to Hvar and stay at Palace Elisabeth again when we are back! Highly recommended!!!

WE have stayed at the Adriana for years and have usually loved our experience there. Last year (2021), our experience was less than perfect and less than satisfactory. There are 2 main reasons: (1) Croatia was just reopening to tourists during Covid, so the number of tourists / room bookings were low; and (2) the ownership company had just opened the neighboring Hotel Palace Elisabeth after a great capital investment so guests and staff were being redirected there. We were surprised to learn about #2 - no one had contacted us prior to checking into the hotel that the Adriana would be closing temporarily although indefinitely two days later. They should have at least sent us an email so we would know that we would have to plan to move from the Adriana to the Elisabeth and, in so doing, lose a great deal of time during one day for the transfer -- and they could have made some kind of gesture or reimbursement for the hassle and opportunity cost. Also, importantly, the Adriana had turned OFF the air conditioning system (you know how in Europe it is all or nothing for the entire building depending on whether they have turned on or off the cooling or heating systems, usually on preplanned dates regardless of the actual weather). This was the last week of May and we always choose hotels based on reliable, cool, self adjustable AC. We were shocked. The front desk staff said that German guests had complained that the rooms were too cold, so they turned off the AC since the hotel was closing in 2 days anyway. Best aspects of Adriana: 1. The staff, especially Petar, Tomislav, Jaksa, and Vlado. They remember us each year and treat us like friends. We always look forward to seeing them. They are helpful, proactive, professional, and teach us new Croatian words each trip. 2. The breakfast setting on the outdoor terrace overlooking the harbor. Of all of the hotels we have been to along the Croatian coast, the very best setting is at the Adriana, with the sunshine, the sailboats, and the view of the fortress. The breakfast itself used to be much better; last year (this visit) the selections were more sp**** and less healthy, less fresh, and less appealing. Less appealing aspects of the Adriana 1. the AC was NOT working, which made it very difficult to sleep. 2. the rooms are in dire need of renovation. The floors are scratched and dirty; the wiring with no electrical outlets in the bathrooms has to finally be fixed; the hair dryer in the living room closet simply is not acceptable and is inconvenient; and the little frigs often are old, not working, or leaking.

Absolutely loved every minute of our stay here. Small, family run Hotel on a gorgeous little stony beach, about 10 mins from Hvar Town. Booked directly with Josipa and she, her Brother and Dad couldn’t have been better Hosts - and the rest of the Staff are lovely too. Milna is small - it has around 7 Restaurants, a Bakery and a Grocery Shack. Everything closes around 11pm. The Beach is lovely for swimming so bring beach shoes. We rented sunbeds in the shade at the Tiki Bar. The Hotel itself is perfect - clean rooms, simple little Restaurant and plenty of choice for Breakfast. They offer reduced fare Taxis into Hvar Town which is super convenient. Only regret is staying for just 2 nights - loved it!

We loved this little boutique family run hotel. The twins Ivan and Maury were very helpful and friendly. We loved that the free breakfast included lavazza coifee from a real coffee machine! And custom omelets and even crepes! The room was spotlessly clean and fresh and comfortable. We opted for a superior room Not sure what we up graded to lol! I loved that they had plenty of items in the vanity area in case you needed them and a lovely tea and coffee selection if you wanted something hot after hours The location was great for coming by boat or ferry. Very close to the riva and plaza St Stephen’s.
