Leeds Castle

In the quiet countryside of Kent, England, a fairytale castle has stood quietly for 900 years - here is Leeds Castle, the "loveliest castle in the world". It was once the private residence of six medieval queens, and was transformed into a royal palace by Henry VIII. Now it is known as the "Ladies' Castle", a romantic secret place where history and nature are intertwined. Cross the winding moat and touch the ancient stone walls of the Norman era. Every brick and stone hides a story: from the beacon tower of William the Conqueror to the magnificent palace of the Tudor Dynasty, every expansion of the castle is engraved with the mark of power and love. Look, under that Gothic stained glass window, did the young Henry VIII whisper with Queen Catherine here? Stepping into the castle, it seems as if time has gone back. The intricate oak carved dome, the sparkling Venetian glass chandeliers, the tapestries of Elizabeth I... The most stunning is the Gloriana Gallery - 2,000 handmade golden roses blooming on the ceiling, paying tribute to the golden age of the 'Virgin Queen'.

Royal Observatory Greenwich

Season (June-September): Plenty of sunshine, it is the peak season for tourism in the UK, with various art festivals and activities. Spring and autumn: humid and rainy, relatively low comfort. Winter (November-February): Few sunny days, low temperature, not suitable for outdoor activities, it is recommended to avoid. Transportation in the UK Train: convenient and comfortable, suitable for short trips. Self-driving: high degree of freedom, suitable for long-distance travel. 🔹 Greenwich Observatory 🚢 Cutty Sark: It is said that there are some records related to China on the ship. If time is tight, a one-day pass is a good choice. Historical records: The observatory preserves the deeds, measuring instruments and daily life records of past astronomers. The Royal Observatory Greenwich is not only a scientific sanctuary, but also a place full of history and maritime stories. Here, you can feel the power of science up close. From the rise of the steam engine to the end of the Age of Discovery, to the invention of computers and the development of network technology, scientific progress has never stopped.

Westminster Abbey

It is worth a must-see project in London, and Westminster still has 17 British monarchs buried, and there are many well-known heavyweight politicians and scientists, such as Churchill, Princess Diana, Newton, Darwin, Shakespeare, Rutherford, Hawking and others are also buried or tree monuments here. It doesn't have to be explained in itself, Trip.com It is also very convenient to buy tickets, praise

Tower Bridge

Tower Bridge is one of London’s most iconic landmarks. The combination of Victorian engineering and Gothic architecture makes it a must-visit. Walking across the glass floor is thrilling, and the exhibition inside provides fascinating historical insights. Whether you admire it from the banks of the Thames or take a tour inside, it’s an unforgettable experience.

Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace is a must-visit for history lovers, featuring stunning architecture and beautiful gardens. The official residence of the British monarch, it dates back to 1703 and serves as the venue for royal ceremonies and events. Visitors can enjoy a glimpse into royal life, with the Changing of the Guard being a popular attraction.

The British Museum

The layout and route of the British Museum seemed not very clear, but it became much clearer after following the tour guide. Diana's explanation was friendly and relaxed, and she was also very dedicated, and she was able to meet some personalized requirements of tourists. It was a worthwhile experience for first-time visitors.

This time I brushed it twice. This time I took my family to sit together. It felt really good overlooking half of London and the Thames. The only fly in the ointment was that the weather was not good enough, and the scenery was too far from sunny and cloudy.

a great art gallery right by Trafalgar Square. gorgeous building with a variety of art works to enjoy including 3 Van Gogh paintings. not huge if you aren’t doing the paid exhibits also but a nice way to spend an hour or so. cloak room available for £2 per item but you can leave your bag there for as many hours as needed, as long as you collect by closing time. cafe and toilets available (although we didn’t use as the queues were huge!). staff were very friendly and nice.
