Travel Tips - The stairs of the castle tower are steep, so it is recommended to wear clothes and shoes that are easy to move around in. - After climbing the castle, you can get a "castle certificate" (charged) as a unique souvenir. - Combined with the itinerary in Nagoya city, it takes about 30 minutes to arrive by taking the Meitetsu Inuyama Line, and the transportation is convenient. -The price-performance ratio is good, the crowd is small, and it is leisurely!



Even though I wouldn’t say I’m the biggest Ghibli fan, this place definitely made me wish I had watched more movies from the renowned studio. From attractions that I did recognise and could relate some scenes with context, the place definitely rekindled the childhood emotions in me.



The day in Meiji Village was very fulfilling. All the buildings were moved from parts of real historical buildings. The first elementary school and university in modern Japan, as well as banks, prisons, churches, hospitals, police stations, photo studios, theaters, etc., all of these prototypes of Japan's modernization were formed during this period of opening up the country and civilization. We also learned about the immigration history of Brazil and Hawaii, saw Natsume Soseki's study, and learned about the etymology of the handle rings in the tram. After climbing the first 100 stairs, the rest is like hiking. If you climb slowly, you will reach the top of the mountain in 25-30 minutes. From the top you can see the entire Kyoto city. It was a great experience and beautiful place with kids. We went during the off peak season and it was not crowded. And yet we did not have enough time to explore the whole place. Just enough time to experience all the rides despite no long queue for most rides and no time to really enjoy the Lego miniland. Will be great if the operational hours are longer. Overall, still great time spent in LEGOLAND.
