Oshino Hakkai (the Eight Seas of Oshino)

It is said that the Oshino Hakkai existed 1,200 years ago. It is composed of eight clear fresh springs formed by the melting snow of Mount Fuji and filtering through the strata: Kamaike, Dimuike, Choshiike, Turbidike, Yongike, Mirrorike, Acorus and Departure. The average water temperature is 13℃, and it is known as the Jiuzhaigou of Japan.

It is also very convenient to go to the Oshino Hakkai from Kawaguchiko. There are several buses every day, and you can take them without making an appointment in advance. The one-way fare is only 560 yen.
