Hoan Kiem Lake

Hoan Kiem Lake is the beating heart of Hanoi! everything happens here: music, street food, nightlife. A must do if you are in Hanoi.

My dad said that being so tacky is art. Hahahaha. The internet said it was very cold and I needed to bring clothes. I brought a lot, but it didn't feel cold at all. Maybe it was because it was the first show in the afternoon. Anyway, I didn't have any clothes.

St. Joseph Cathedral

St. Joseph's Cathedral is a must-visit landmark for anyone exploring Hanoi. This stunning Gothic cathedral, built during the French colonial era, stands as a testament to the city's rich history and architectural heritage. Here's why you should add it to your itinerary:Architectural Marvel: The cathedral's imposing façade, twin towers, and intricate stained glass windows are simply breathtaking. Its neo-Gothic design, reminiscent of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, creates a serene and awe-inspiring atmosphere.Historical Significance: As one of the oldest churches in Hanoi, St. Joseph's Cathedral has witnessed significant historical events. It's a place where you can connect with the past and appreciate the city's cultural diversity.Peaceful Surroundings: The cathedral is nestled in a tranquil square, surrounded by lush greenery. Take a moment to sit on one of the benches, soak in the peaceful ambiance, and watch the world go by.Photo Opportunities: The cathedral's majestic architecture provides endless photo opportunities. Capture the stunning façade, the intricate details of the stained glass windows, or simply the serene atmosphere of the square.Tips for Visitors: * Dress Modestly: While visitors of all faiths are welcome, it's respectful to dress modestly when entering the cathedral. * Respectful Behavior: Maintain silence and avoid disruptive behavior inside the cathedral, especially during prayer times. * Best Time to Visit: Early morning or late afternoon are ideal times to visit when the crowds are smaller and the lighting is more favorable for photography.Whether you're a history buff, an architecture enthusiast, or simply seeking a peaceful retreat, St. Joseph's Cathedral is a must-visit destination in Hanoi.

This is a must in Hanoi. I would recommend going to friends. The locals are very friendly and the coffee was delicious!

Tam Coc Ninh Binh

The scenery is not bad, mainly by boat, Vietnamese boat workers are purely manual boating, a boat can take about 4 people. Through various caves, the main thing is to enjoy the scenery formed by the mountains and caves of various karst landforms on the boat. The whole journey is about 2 hours. If the weather is good, the scenery is still very good, but the boat is a bit sun-proof, you must do a good job of sun protection. The ship also has umbrellas to shield the sun.

Cat Ba Island

What is Cat Ba in April??! After discussing for a few minutes, my sister and I decided to take a 2-day, 1-night trip to Cat Ba to relieve stress. ✅ Transportation: We chose to go by motorbike, it doesn't take much time to travel from the center to the island, we can enjoy the scenery while traveling. Ferry ticket: 12k 1 person. Motorbike 57k 2 people and motorbike. The latest trip in the summer is at 7pm, right? The coastal road is as beautiful as rumored. Bougainvillea grows on both sides of the shore, you can check in anywhere. This month, there are also cotton flowers blooming, anyone who goes by motorbike just look on the side of the road to see cotton flowers, pass the check-in hut and you're there. ✅ Hotel: I stayed at Manh Vuong Hotel right on 1/4 Street. This hotel has been in business for a long time, but the room quality is still good and the view is beautiful. Right on the sea, so when you open the door, you can feel the sea breeze hitting your face. 🤣 The price of the hotel is on the sea with a beautiful view but very cheap: 400k/night ✅ Food and drink: It was noon when we checked in, so we ate cakes in the room and waited 2 o'clock to eat banh xeo.

definitely worth visiting and walking down each and every lane and lake side. beautiful cute cozy cafes will cheer you up and so many street sopping you can do here.

West Lake

梦中的阿尔及尔
Living in Hanoi West Lake Intercontinental, just next to Hanoi West Lake, it is very convenient to go to the old town, the front desk service is also very good, like it. Hanoi West Lake is different from the West Lake, there is no mountain, but it is not bad.

36 Pho Phuong

Thirty-six Lines Ancient Street With a history of thousands of years, it was once the economic prosperity center of Hanoi. Each street focuses on a certain business, hence the name "Thirty-six Lines Street". Close to the Hoan Kiem Lake, it is the heart of Hanoi. There are people coming and going on the street, cars are constantly flowing, and motorcycles are shuttling between them. This army of motorcycles is too chaotic, and it is too difficult to cross the road😥 The air in the street is full of gasoline (incomplete combustion) exhaust smell... I am not used to it. You can stop and have a cup of coffee☕️ to feel this rare lively atmosphere.
