One of the most populated and bustling locations in India , New Delhi is among the oldest established cities in recorded history. Thought to have been originally constructed over five thousand years ago, Delhi has as many signs of ancient life as any other of the world’s most culturally vibrant locations. New Delhi tempts visitors with the promise of being surrounded by one of the most unique cultures in the world. With pristine examples of architecture, tradition and artwork from various dynasties and religions, it’s amazing to consider that these ancient treasures survived in a city that has been destroyed and rebuilt eleven different times. Qutb Minar and its Monuments and the Red Fort complex just to name a couple. Tourist attractions like zoos and shopping centers abound, but what really makes New Delhi stand out is the amazing ambiance felt while within her limits. Maybe that feeling is just the undeniably scorching heat of this area, but it's also possible that the thousands of years worth of history might be playing a factor, too.
