Copenhagen

Copenhagen is the capital city of the Kingdom of Denmark. It is a city that does a perfect job of combining classical antiquity with modern life. People have given Copenhagen honorable names such as "the Paris of Northern Europe", as the city holds many palaces, castles and other examples of ancient architecture. The whole place is completely suffused with an artistic atmosphere. As you stroll down the streets, you will see more statues than you can possibly count, along with art centers and museums. One of the city's main attractions is the Little Mermaid statue. It is located at Copenhagen's beautiful seaside promenade, Langelinie. In fact, author Hans Christian Andersen spent more than half of his life in Copenhagen and many of his most famous works were penned here.
