Laojun Cave, Huoyang Mountain

Huoyangshan Laojun Cave Attraction is located in Xiaolinyan Village, Yangjuan Town, Wei County. The Attraction uses abandoned barren mountains and pits. After two years of development and construction, the construction of Laojun Cave Attraction, Tourist Service Center, parking lot, signboards and other projects have been completed. Huoyangshan Laojun Cave Attraction is a representative Taoist cultural heritage site in Zhangjiakou. Every year in the first month of the lunar year, there are temple fairs and "travel to cure all diseases" and other activities. It has a history of hundreds of years.

The front stone wall is engraved with "Huoyang Mountain", and the stone wall inside the cave is engraved with "Taiqing Cave" and "Taiqing Cave" by Zhang Lixian, a disciple of Zhang Sanfeng during the Qianlong period. There are 26 caves of different sizes, including Laojun Cave, God of Wealth Cave, Fairy Cave, Bingyue Cave, Yuantong Cave, etc., where many statues of gods are enshrined. The stone for tying cattle at the entrance of the cave and the place where the alchemy furnace is placed are still there. The cave on the west is a blessed land of caves. There is an animal called "Golden Ant" in the cave, which lives and thrives in the cave all year round.

Laojun Cave has a long history, and its depth is still unknown. The spring water outside the cave is sweet. In winter, ice flows and the ice looks like human figures, commonly known as Laba people. There are three hexagonal square seven-story pagodas and multiple sacred tablets outside the cave, which were destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. Now there is only one stone tablet. Outside the cave, there was a Sanyi Temple during the Qianlong period. The Erlang Temple was moved here in the fifth year of Guangxu due to years of disrepair and was equipped with a Guanyin Hall. It was written and written by Du You, a student of Dujiazhuang in the northwest of Yuzhou City, and restored by Liu Shouda and others from Caotuan, Yuzhou. Incense was burned and statues were built to pray for blessings. All prayers were answered and passed down to this day.
