Not ordinal shrine
Hiko Jinjya shrine is dedicated to the people relating with air aviation. Therefore this shrine is very different than other traditional shrines in Japan. The building of shrine is very modern.

It is a stainless steel torii gate, a Greek temple-style hall of worship, and a unique shrine. It was founded in 1915, and in 1891, a person named Chuhachi Ninomiya, who succeeded in a rubber-powered flight experiment, built a shrine at home. In 1889, Ninomiya saw a crow gliding without moving its wings, and started an experiment thinking that if it catches the wind, it could fly.
