Alta Lake

Alta Lake is the larger of Whistler's five lakes and is located between the main village of Whistler and the Creekside area. There are three parks around the lake, namely Rainbow Park, Lakeside Park and Wayside Park. All three parks have sandy beaches and lawns. Lakeside Park and Wayside Park offer boat rentals and snacks. In summer, people gather in the park for a picnic, or go boating on the lake. And more tourists, cycling or walking along the Whistler Valley Trail, unknowingly came to Lake Ota.
