Great place to stop and 'stretch your legs' while traveling. Beautiful view of the river! There is a picnic area, trash cans and 'outdoor' bathrooms. Pavilion's are a good place for day gatherings ...
Nice area except when it floods.
Van Buren Riverfront Park is a fun place to visit, except when it floods.They have had some bad luck this year with heavy rains and localized flooding. I believe it happened around Memorial Day weeken...
Great place to watch the river!!
We love to stop here for a break from our trip, get some ice cream at Jolly Cone in Van Buren, and just enjoy the scenery, the boaters, the floaters, and the serenity of the river.
