Hardly worth a visit
We parked the car and walked 200 yards down the hill to the gardens. Yes, the garfens were so-so but would have been much better if the gardener paid more attention to the upkeep.
This is, literally, the monks' garden and it has a nice "unkempt" look about it. Not a lot to see but you'll appreciate the solitude and unpretentiousness.

Tranquillity and simple beauty

This is a beautiful building but closed to the public, except for the chapel. The grounds include gardens and a refreshment cafe with souvenirs
