Jingyin Temple

The ancient cypress in the temple towered over the sky, mixed trees to shade. The inscription records that the earth landslide in Han Dynasty broke, cracked into holes, the earth hill in the cave was high and ten feet, shaped like a Buddha statue, passed down as a landslide Buddha, is the cause of the Buddhist pure land, so the temple was built here. According to the examination, the temple was built in Beiqi, Jintaihe was rebuilt in five years (1205), and it was rebuilt many times in the Ming Dynasty.

The Big Buddha Temple, also known as Jingyin Temple, is located in Tutang Village, on the northern suburbs of Taiyuan City, 20 kilometers away from the city. The temple is built on the mountain, on the west side of the mountain, and on the east side of the Li River. It was founded in Beiqi, and the Jindai Taihe was rebuilt in five years (1205 AD), and it was repaired many times in the Ming Dynasty. The existing temples are mostly Ming and Qing buildings. The attic built on the mountain, where the big Buddha is served, and some people are called "Tutang Big Buddha". Is this Tutang Village? The famous Tutang strange cypress, only two left, has withered. The temple is in the middle of the view. This incense stove is very beautiful.
