Shou County Museum

Located in Shou County, Huainan City, China's only museum named after "Chu Culture" (formerly the Shou County Museum), the museum was officially opened to the public in June 2022, with huge Ding-shaped sculptures and minimalist city-shaped architectural layouts, highlighting the ancient style, but also revealing the modern sense of overlapping with history.

After checking history, I learned that the State of Chu could not resist the annexation of Qin, migrated all the way, and finally came to Shouchun. Shouchun is the last capital city of Chu. Xuxi, history always turns to dust, and Shouchun, a millennial, is still young and has a new vitality.

Shouxian Chu Culture Museum is a museum integrating art and history. It is located in the central area of Shouxian County, Anhui Province. It is one of the key cultural relics protection units in Anhui Province. The museum is one of the important places to understand Chu culture, art and traditional crafts. The exhibition hall of the Chu Culture Museum in Shouxian County has reached 8,000 square meters, divided into four parts: Chu Culture Exhibition Area, Historical and Cultural Exhibition Area, Traditional Craft Exhibition Area and Art Exhibition Area.
