I visited Ota Shrine, which is called "the most dangerous shrine in Japan". It was muddy and slippery due to the rain, so I couldn't let go of the rope on the approach (mountain road) as well as the stairs. If the weather is fine and the mountain trail is not wet, I think that you can climb it if you proceed slowly with the intention of a normal hike, but after all, the slope is large, so if you slip your feet and roll out, I felt that it was not easy to stop and there was a possibility of serious injury. You need to grab the rope and climb again ...
The view from the top of the mountain is wonderful! !! I definitely want you to go! !!

Ota Shrine From the Main Shrine Takeshiro Matsuura, the main shrine where the cave near the top of Mt. Ota, which stands solemnly like a folding screen just below the Sea of Japan, worships the gods, also stopped by. I think children may fall on the first stairs, so I think it's better not to climb. There is no side road and there is no danger of distress. You can go in normal clothes. The rope continues to the top of the mountain, but please leave the grip to climb the last main shrine. It was my second time, but I couldn't climb to the last main shrine ...
