The City of San Diego only open this area on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from March through September. And the City just announced that the area will be closed the third Friday of each month, so be sure to check the date if you plan to stop by. The area is closed from October to February. The area is nice, one of the less visited reservoirs. Water level varies with the season and amount of rainfall for the year. Otherwise, a pleasent, if not overly fancy, area.
