We were heading west and went off the most direct route just to visit this Shrine. It was well worth the effort. From a religious perspective, traveling with Christ from Holy Thursday through His Ascension is moving with the life size statues and thoughtful reflections. As advertised, great for those who may never have the chance to visit the Holy Land. For the non-religious, the bronze statues are amazing art in itself. They also have Mt.
