Great Location in Historical Rome with a documented WWII historical event.
Stayed at an Airbnb on this street and I found myself googling all the addresses of our accommodations to see if there is any recorded history or facts. Well much to my surprise there is. World War II...

Still see the marks on the walls!
Well worth the effort to find - only a few minutes from Trevi fountain. The site of a partisan attack with the holes in the building still there.
Amazing slice of history
My husband has researched this partisan attack during WW11 and it was fascinating to see the bullet holes and to walk the street where it happened
