Ponte Rotto

The bridge, the only remnant of the first stone bridge built on the Tiber River, was located next to the fully functional Palatino Bridge, which collapsed in 1598. Today, this white incomplete giant is sadly placed under moss and grass, leaving modern Romans to rush and pass by. Perhaps visitors with a special interest in Roman architecture will find it worth a visit.
